Well you may be disappointed because -- at least as per customers who are members on here -- as best I can remember there hasn't been any claim rejections.

From the most recent Trustpilot entry it states: I had hip surgery in May 2024, which I paid for and subsequently submitted the costs to WR Life for payment.
-
The above likely refers to a recent Trustpilot entry NB from the 27SEP 2024 WrLife policy document: The following expenses require the prior consent from the Insurer: -Any non-urgent hospitalization -Confinement expenses In the event of a non-urgent hospitalization, non-urgent surgery, non-urgent radiography or non-urgent medical treatment, a medical certificate will be requested from the insurer. Any failure to follow this obligation could result in a refund being refused. (Same policy language dates to 2022)

As per my posts above in this otherwise dormant topic, this from the screenplay Bonnie and Clyde: Farmer: All I can say is, they did right by me - and I'm bringin' me and a mess of flowers to their funeral.

Updated 6:12 PM GMT+7, October 20, 2024 LATROBE, Pa. (AP) — Donald Trump’s campaign suggested he would begin previewing his closing argument Saturday night with Election Day barely two weeks away. But the former president kicked off his rally with a detailed story about Arnold Palmer, at one point even praising the late, legendary golfer’s genitalia. Politicians saluting Palmer in his hometown is nothing new. But Trump spent 12 full minutes doing so at the top of his speech and even suggested how much more fun the night would be if Palmer, who died in 2016, could join him on stage. “When he took the showers with other pros, they came out of there. They said, ‘Oh my God. That’s unbelievable,’” Trump said with a laugh. “I had to say. We have women that are highly sophisticated here, but they used to look at Arnold as a man.” https://apnews.com/article/trump-arnold-palmer-closing-arguments-latrobe-pennsylvania-2bea9620c523e531a55259200215284e

I thought the post above was a fabricated joke but I guess not: Trump tells child there will be no cows under Harris 10/18/24 3:11 PM ET Former President Trump joined “Fox & Friends” on Friday for an in-person interview where he told a 6-year-old child the U.S. “won’t have any cows” if Vice President Harris is elected. In a recorded video, the child asked the Republican candidate about his favorite farm animal. “I’ll tell you what I love, I love cows, but if we go with Kamala, you won’t have any cows anymore,” the former president responded to the child’s question. “I don’t want to ruin this kid’s day.” He then called Harris a “radical left lunatic.” In North Carolina, he added that Harris would “outlaw red meat.” https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4941581-trump-says-no-cows-under-harris/

There isn't anything Ms. Haris has said or done since becoming the Democratic nominee that would NOT make me prefer her as President compared to Mr. Trump. But if Trump is again chosen as President by the American voting vox populi, that is just another of many reasons for me as to why I choose not to live there anymore. -
Thanks. I got as far as "Robert F. Kennedy Jr. explains ..."

No hate. I 've lived in Oklahoma (the only state where every county went for Trump 2020) and rural Florida counties that went 80% for Trump. But thanks for the monologue, Gracie. -

How hurricane falsehoods are dividing the Republican Party (4 days ago) As Donald Trump and his allies spread false claims about Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Republican Party has split into two camps: those who try to dispel the falsehoods, and those who are doubling down on them. As the country digs out, Republicans in storm-battered states appear torn between the need to curb misinformation and fear of drawing a rebuke from Trump just weeks before the election. Many lawmakers and officials have sought to counter these rumors without directly criticizing the former president or their party. North Carolina state Sen. Kevin Corbin was among the first GOP officials in the hard-hit region to speak out against the rampant misinformation, decrying the “conspiracy theory junk” in a Facebook post last week. (Republican) Mayor Glenn Jacobs of Knox County, Tenn., also urged his followers last week to “quit spreading those rumors as they are counterproductive to response efforts.” https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/how-hurricane-falsehoods-are-dividing-the-republican-party/ar-AA1s2t8A -

Suspect arrested after reports of threats toward FEMA operations in North Carolina Updated 4:00 PM EDT, Mon October 14, 2024 A North Carolina man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly threatening harm against FEMA employees responding to Hurricane Helene, according to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. William Jacob Parsons, 44, was arrested and charged with Going Armed to the Terror of the Public, a misdemeanor, Capt. Jamie Keever said in a news release issued Monday. “Parsons was armed with a handgun and a rifle,” Keever said. Threat caused some FEMA offices to close “We are aware of significant misinformation online and reports of threats to response workers on the ground and the safety of responders must be taken seriously,” said Jordan Monaghan, deputy communications director for North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper. “The Governor has directed the Department of Public Safety to identify with local law enforcement the specific threats and rumors and coordinate with FEMA and other partners to ensure safety and security as this recovery effort continues.” https://edition.cnn.com/2024/10/14/us/fema-helene-north-carolina-reported-threats/index.html -
Sarah Palin 'cost John McCain two million votes in 2008 US election' 'Palin saw a sharp increase in negative evaluations as the fall campaign progressed' Wednesday 20 January 2016 Sarah Palin's track record in politics from 2009-on isn't terrible. In the Tea Party wave of 2010, when Palin's popularity among conservatives was near its peak, candidates won in 33 of 64 races where she endorsed. She's had some high-profile wins since and some big losses, including on Donald Trump's current national spokesperson's congressional bid. The value of any one endorsement is often hard to determine, given the number of factors that go into a political campaign, of course. There was one race in which Palin appears not to have been much help — and, in fact, hurt the candidate. According to a 2010 study from researchers at Stanford University, noted by Brendan Nyhan, Palin's presence on the 2008 Republican presidential ticket cost John McCain 1.6 percentage points. In an election in which 131 million people voted, that's 2.1 million votes that McCain should have gotten but didn't. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/sarah-palin-cost-john-mccain-two-million-votes-in-2008-us-election-a6822871.html

Trump Lashes Out Behind Closed Doors Over Money (from NYTimes headline) Donald J. Trump is feeling aggrieved, unappreciated by donors and fenced in by security concerns in the final stretch of the race. October 12, 2024 at 7:31 am EDT via New York Times: “The rant, described by seven people with knowledge of the meal who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations, underscored a reality three weeks before Election Day: Mr. Trump’s often cantankerous mood in the final stretch. And one of the reasons for his frustration is money. He’s trailing his Democratic rival in the race for cash and has had to hustle to keep raising it.” “Not only does Ms. Harris have far more money to buy ads and pay for staff after raising $1 billion in less than three months as a candidate — a sum greater than the total Mr. Trump raised all year — but she has also been freed from having to plead directly to donors anymore.” https://politicalwire.com/2024/10/12/trump-lashes-out-behind-closed-doors-over-money/
