You're a living, breathing testament to the drawbacks of a one person, one vote democracy.

I've read the flippin' article and it's not complicated in the slightest. A law needs amending so that there is no conflict, nothing more, nothing less. It will of course be made complicated (artifically, because again, it's not complicated) because the US political system is disjointed to a level that is almost unbelievable. It will remain artificially complicated while a bunch of idiots try to score points against eachother while ignoring the wider picture. ...and those advocating for equality laws without giving the slightest thought to issues like this that are affecting MILLIONS of women are doing the human race, and their position, a disservice.

Got to disagree with you on this one. Life can be unfair in many ways. Being a member of a minority who's body and mental gender (or whatever the current term we're all supposed to use is) is unfair. What would be even more unfair would be to allow a biological male that has started pubery for even a day to compete against genetic females in sport. Putting millions at a disadvantage in order to try and be fair to a few does not make any sense whatsoever. It really is as simple as 1+1=2.

...and what metrics are you using to judge the state of the economy? Real figures, or outlier gasoline prices touted by a conman to try and show an alternate reality? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._economic_performance_by_presidential_party Pretty much every metric used in the modern world would indicate you needing to switch your allegiance, or if not, changing your reason for being a red.

You really need to open your eyes. Trump is hugely divisive, it's likely even a tactic of his. He uses schoolboy slurs against anyone and everyone. He is clearly a mysoginist and very clearly puts himself above and before anything, especially the office he again wants to hold. Your friends might also dislike his policies. They might vote against him even though they support one or two of his policies because, in their opinion, his total offering is a cluster<deleted> and VERY dangerous for the world overall. I dislike much of old GOP such as Lyndsey Graham and Mitch McConnell, but new MAGA is even worse, with the like of MTG who shouldn't be around a pair of scissors, let alone a lawmaking session. In Trump's eyes, anyone that does not 100% share his goals must be a part of the "radical left". He has made politics even more binary than it ever was. There is a plethora of politics to the left of Trump that is still right of centre, but to be anything other than MAGA makes you a RINO (yet another childish name). In terms of US politics, I am probably slightly left of centre, but in MAGA eyes that MUST mean I support kids identifying as cats, 97 genders, the takeover of the alphabet by gender minorities and the killing of all fetuses. I must only believe that black lives matter, be a fully paid up member of Antifa and be crying myself to sleep that the potential assasin only got his ear. It would be almost funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

I'd agree with you there. Not so sure on which of the geriatrtic's are more culpable though. I would think that's likely a touch of bias. I'd be pretty sure that the average righty gets well worked up when someone they think is of a different lean lies, while ignoring the lies of their idols. To go a little further, the right accusing the left of doing exactly what they are themselves doing (in spades) is a pretty common tactic, moreso since Trump entered politics (IMHO of course).
-
So, because in your opinion, Trump's lies are less egregious than Biden's, he gets a pass, yes?
-
Almost as sad as the "hate anything other than Trump ers", quick to lay the blame at what they want to call the "radical left" before the orange ear even has time to congeal.

So you just label anything that goes against your beliefs as porn to justify them being removed. -
Trump picks J.D. Vance as running mate for VP at Republican convention

States deciding for themselves vs legislation at the federal level does not preclude women's rights being trampled. Infact, since Roe vs Wade was overturned by the right, the vast majority of the (sometimes total) ban on abortions have been in traditional red states. You know, the ones that believe that the law of the land should be based on what's written in religious fiction, a position that causes other nations to be known as religious (fundamental) states. The US should be no different in that judgement. -
Nope, unfortunately he only had himself to blame.

I wasn't there, I was 14 at the time. I met the landlord several times afterwards and thanked him for his efforts. It would have been well over 10 pints of guinness (never did like the stuff) and probably a barrel of rum or two. He was an ex Navy guy.
-
I don't think that exists unless you're talking about a couple of pints maximum. It's so easy to get transport here, especially somewhere like Pattaya. Lived there for 9 years. I'll be there again next week to party. Many if not most of my mates ride / drive drunk regularly. I've probably been close myself if I was totally honest. It happens. It's part of life but it's easily avoided. Like I said, I'm far from innocent in many aspects and it's not my place to point the finger, but bragging about drink driving is, well, you know what it is.
-
Had a messy divorce, went out and got plastered, wouldn't have it when the landlord refused to let him drink more, punched the landlord in the face to get his car keys back, then drove into a concrete wall instantly killing himself and leaving his best mate, who had egged him on, with a disfigured face for the rest of his life. It's not my place tot judge people. Drink driving is common, especially here, but bragging about it boils my piss.
-
My father was killed drink driving. I'm not telling you because I want a medal, nor a smiley face. I'm pointing out that you writing that the reason you don't drive while drunk is because there's a higher chance that you might get caught rather than it being bloody stupid makes you sound like a muppet. You then equating not driving drunk to being a "good boy" elevates muppet to complete tool.
-
I don't drink and drive because it's bloody stupid, not because I might get caught.

I have no real problem "greasing the wheels" as that's just the way things are done here. I also laugh at those that say they would never do this, as it's just not realistic. However, if we all just rolled over and paid whatever was asked without question, the amount of grease that the wheel needs will likely just keep increasing by whatever amount "they" think you might pay. Not linked to something like inflation, real cost of providing the service or anything else that is reasonable or we can control. I would have questioned the fee, said something along the lines of "it's supposed to be free, but here's 300 baht" and seen what happened. 800 baht is still less than the hassle it would have been for me to walk out without the CoR, but I can't have them thinking that they can just ask for whatever they want, whenever they want, without some kind of push back. To keep things in context, an official speeding fine here is 500 baht. How happy would we be if it was this trivial back home?

Which falls way short of calling out Putin for being the aggressor and for "doing wrong". You imply (actually it seems like you fully agree) that Putin is fully the right to invade and that all of the deaths incurred are of Ukraine's doing. Therefore your calls on Ukraine to basically just give up are made from a position of great bias. Of course you could always say the say about myself and others who hold the opposite view.

Do you have any links to articles covering his trial? Thousands of 15 year olds? Any citations? Democracies typically have at least two parties that have some semblance of a chance of winning a majority. When was the last time (any time) this was the case in Russia?
