110 Thai immigration police officers charged in visa scandal
Mickeymaus replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I guess they will all be transferred to the Ministry of Inactive Posts, which is getting bigger every day. -
Looking at the picture of Jomtien beach at night that I posted earlier, it might not be a bad idea to have entertainment options other than red light districts and sex businesses at night. But it should not be organized by a beach mafia, but by local governments. There was a lot of chaos. Also traffic issues and lots of noise complaints as far as I remember.

We had this already... This shows Jomtien Beach in June 2022. The restaurants and vendors just did what they wanted and nobody cared. I could only find a link to a Thai and German news site - sorry. https://www.dailynews.co.th/news/1178891/ https://der-farang.com/de/pages/na-jomtien-haendler-muessen-strand-raeumen

They put their tables and chairs on a public area. Now try the following. Take a lot of friends with you and food and drinks (no alcohol on the beach - but does this restaurant care?) and sit in their chairs and enjoy the evening. For sure they will try to remove you and your friends. They want to remove you and your friends from a public area that they are not allowed to use for business?

Questions on View Talay 5 and 7

You need to speak to management what changes are allowed. Make sure you get a written answer to your questions, otherwise... -
Regarding weather reports for the lovely family resort Pattaya - better trust a glass ball ???? or a fortune cookie ????. Often the reports change within hours from heavy rain ⛈️ to sunshine ???? or from morning temperatures of 18 degrees ???? to 25 degrees ????. Sometimes the weather shows mercy and does what they forecast. https://www4.tmd.go.th/en/province.php?StationNumber=48461

Tree Town is a parking area with cheap bars - nothing more. There is the better Beach Club with swimming pool. But it has been closed for a while. I talked to one of the Farang owners when they built it. He was so optimistic and told me that he even planned two saunas inside. Perhaps not so much beach and too much club? Will be interesting to see what will happen there in the future. There is also the new Excite Square in the Buakhao Area - more Third Road. But still a bit quiet. Not completely. The extremely noisy Area 39 moved from Tree Town to this location ????????????????????????. https://thepattayanews.com/2021/12/14/pattaya-food-and-herb-fair-is-under-way-part-of-the-official-opening-of-the-new-excite-square-pattaya/

It disturbs many condominiums and hotels. There have been endless complaints about noise. I am one of them that called the City Hall 1337 and the police several times. And I am not the only one. There have been long signature lists with people that complained. Did it change anything? What do you think ????????.

Is there anything like a Beelink with a remote?
Mickeymaus replied to giddyup's topic in Audio Visual AV
The connection to the TV is via USB cable. But some of these powered hubs don't switch off the power to the USB TV connection. That means they send power to the TV too. Might work but I never used them with the power supply connected because I don't want to risk my expensive TV board. And the ones that I have they have this problem. There is only 1 exception. When I plug in the power adapter at this one the USB power connection to the TV is interrupted. This one is USB 2.0. Look for USB 3. -
Double Charging I know it exists but it is still very annoying.

Perhaps I had luck. They often tried but I showed them my Thai drivers license and my Thai girlfriend did the rest. Never had to pay then more. Since I don't understand Thai, I can't say anything about the exact content of the conversations. But she made it clear to them that I am not a tourist but live here. -

What happens if you make smaller partitions? Does it support perhaps only FAT 32? Then you have the file size limit of 4 GB. Perhaps no problem for your usage. -

Perhaps the partition format of the external drive is NTFS? My LG TV can use it. If this is the problem you can try exFAT instead of NTFS. -
I am not against vaping. But the tourists should understand the laws before they come to Thailand. If they don't do it then it is not the fault of Thailand. In Singapore for instance chewing gums are not allowed. So better don't use them or face the consequences. And many countries have laws that are different than the laws of the countries the tourists come from. Think of Arab countries. And if tourists believe they are so special that they can ignore local laws and regulations - stupid, but up to them.

Be patient ????. Other people may not allow that they get automatically added as friends. I switched this off too to avoid spam.

Go to the profile settings and there to friends and switch on auto-add friends. Then click on the sync button underneath this.

I understood that he only wanted to add some memory. If money is no problem I would recommend a big tablet. I have PC and Notebook. I used them a lot before. But now I sit mostly with my big tablet in the bed. I hate to sit in a chair in the meantime to use a computer. In addition the tablet has 4G LTE. I don't even need a modem and can also make calls.
