Without Chuwit this case would have been just another case of a helpless victim. To make matters worse the police even blamed the victim in the media that she was drunken and whatever. In other news it is written already that police officers admitted that they lied. What a story. For sure all the people guilty in this case will be transferred to a different post.........

I'm considering switching to inverters. But for me it is very important that the air conditioners reduce the humidity. How about your inverters. Are they doing a good job reducing humidity? How is your experience compared to your old conventional aircons?
-
I have an undersized conventional unit in an about 50 sqm room. It is also only about 13,000 BTU like in the two smaller rooms. It was installed in the condo already. The effect is that it takes a lot of moisture out of the air but cooling is very slow. It helped me to discover something. For me not the temperature is so much the problem but the humidity. So when the air is dry enough I switch the aircons off and switch on a fan. Perfect and saves a lot of electricity. In my accommodations before I always tried to reduce the temperature to at least 26 degrees. But the real problem for me was the humidity.

There is for sure some fun. But I think after a couple of hours I would have had enough fun. And 10 days are much more than a couple of hours. And zones are needed. People who want to play these water games can go there. If you don't want simply avoid this zone. But how it is now - every drunken idiot can annoy you if you want it or not. And this is only fun for one side... But again. There is no zoning and it seem to be unthinkable for the local government that there are people who don't like this special "fun". They also seem to believe that everybody enjoys bar noise the whole night long what is even more extreme during Songkran. But there are people who need sleep, there are people who have to work, there are children who need sleep... Happy Songkran

If I understand you correctly you have 26 sqm. I have in two similar rooms conventional Daikin aircons with 3800 Watt what is about 13,000 BTU. For my situation this is more than enough. Of course it depends on the insulation of the room. If I buy an inverter I would take a little bit more BTUs. A friend of mine has in his condo in similiar rooms conventional aircons with 33,000 BTU. It is good for shock freezing but for nothing else. But again - this is my experience. I don't want to be guilty... Not that you sit in the too hot kitchen with many beer and think I could kill this Mickeymaus... In respect of Daikin - I will not buy this brand again. The white plastic is yellow now and the remote control displays get black. And the compressors are a little bit on the noisy side. But my aircons are old in the meantime and perhaps their products improved. Maybe Mitsubishi next time. Regarding kitchen - when you cook better switch it off. If you buy an inverter aircon make sure that Geckos cannot get on the boards. A very unpleasant experience for the Gecko and often a very expensive one for you.

In my experience far too many BTU will cool the room down more quickly. But since the compressor runs a shorter time it will do a very bad job when it comes to take out the moisture of the air. On the other hand a far too weak aircon will achieve the opposite - it will create air that is too dry.

Pattaya Nightclub Guards Reportedly Attack Indian Tourist over Argument

Where do you have this information from? I am wondering because many bars (but not all) close at 2am at least here in Central Pattaya. -
They enjoy the beach, they go to restaurants, they go on trips to the Crocodile Farm, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and other places, they go shopping, they maybe play golf and... They're not looking for sex and alcohol or crazy water games. Perhaps hard to understand for some ????. But anyway - Pattaya loves their kind of quality tourists obviously more. Otherwise there wouldn't be bars and sex everywhere. You will never see me in a bar. Pattaya was for sure the wrong choice for me. And to make matters worse I IDIOT even bought a condo here. Hard to be more stupid. I know. Move? Perhaps to Alicante in Spain.

It is okay for a day or two. But here in Pattaya it goes for about 10 days. And this from the morning until late night. And the worst are the often completely drunken Farangs. It is no fun for instance to sit on the Baht bus that stops next to a bar and get completely wet. Or to drive a motorbike and get a bucket load of water in your face. People have to go to work or to a doctor or to a dinner or whatever. It is hard to understand that the bars and their customers can do what they want and the local government doesn't care. Very many people are extremely annoyed. But obviously the bars and their quality tourists are more important. Many people leave or avoid Pattaya during this time. I don't think Pattaya benefits much financially from this.

Pattaya Nightclub Guards Reportedly Attack Indian Tourist over Argument

Apparently they don't enforce the closing times anymore. In Tree Town just yesterday a bar with a band was making extreme noise until 3am. I guess they could even hear it at the Beach Road Police Station. Maybe they use earplugs there... ???? But this shows that the bars are not worried. Open past closing time - normally I would expect that they turn down the volume then. But obviously they want to tell the world "Come to us. We are still open". -

I see it the same way and I was Microsoft user from the first days. For me Android is much better. There are for sure reasons to use Microsoft or Linux on a PC if you use applications that need a lot of power. I even used RAID 0 with several disks to get more speed. But these days are gone - at least for me. I still have my PC (with XP, 7, 8.1 and 10) and a notebook (with 7 and 10). But I hardly use them in the meantime. Mostly I sit with my Android tablet in the bed. Much more convenient and enough for me nowadays. Yes, I am getting old...

In respect of searching try the free software "Everything". I could not live without it. In the options choose the drives that it should scan. Don't worry. It is very fast. https://www.voidtools.com/

There are good reasons why you should be careful to buy property in Thailand. Here are some of them: You cannot own land. Of course you can use a fake company. But the government can end this at any time and they discussed this years ago already. In addition it is hard or impossible to get laws enforced. So many things are not up to you but up to them - whoever this is. Then you are only a tourist here. You might get another retirement extension year after year. But they can stop this at any time. You have no right to get it. Or they change the visa requirements and you can no longer fulfill them.

When Tops was new in the Pattaya Central Mall and I was overcharged I got the product for free. This happened several times at that time. Unfortunately after that at least in my case never again. This is for sure not the law. Normally you have the right to get the advertised price. And usually the will refund you the difference. If not - I guess it might be a lot of trouble to sue them. Better give it back and ask for a full refund. .

There are different ad blockers. Some block ads for all apps like AdGuard. Others are only browser based. Which browser are you using?

It will help to remove toxins you swallowed at this time. It is normally an emergency treatment or used for diarrhea. But sure - you can take it with every noodle soup to be on the safe side ????. Perhaps they should add it to the package like other ingredients ????. -
