  1. This is correct. I always check first with the browser since I can read the Thai reviews there. If I know what I want to buy I switch to the Lazada app. Perhaps it works in the meantime but before the checkout in the browser didn't work. Will try again next time. Then I will forget the app as far as possible.
  2. It seems to be a bit complicated ????
  3. I know. But perhaps there are other people looking for stories they can use for GoFundMe and then ask for instance the relatives for their permission. Of course they will not do this for free. A kind of GoFundMe agent.
  4. Yes. But don't switch in Lazada to English otherwise it will not translate it to English anymore. Switch to Thai and translate from there.
  5. Maybe that's too easy. I think they have no problem tiling the public sidewalk in front of their townhouses and occupy it. In this case they even used the street (but without tiles) ????.
  6. I think many people have never heard of GoFundMe. Perhaps people behind this that organise all this for a commission? A kind of business?
  7. A tragic motorbike accident like so many in Thailand. From the original article: "The family have also set up a GoFundMe Page to get some help with the costs of the funeral to give their loved one the send off he deserves, and the generosity of others has seen the fundraiser reach £2,450." Is this the new style to beg for money in such cases? I see this more and more often. Are other people behind this or only the family?
  8. Not sure if I understand your problem correctly. Use the Chrome browser and call up Lazada in Thai (not in English - important) and then click translate in the browser.
  9. I will buy the NT Thunder on Monday next week and compare it with my DTAC 30 Mbps unlimited in Central Pattaya. I think DTAC and NT use the network together. It always depends on the condo/room. AIS wasn't so good in my condo. But a friend has AIS two floors higher and perhaps 50 meters away and he gets perfect speeds. But my DTAC is much better in my condo than in his. True Move could hardly be used in his condo. I will report my DTAC and NT experience after extensive testing at the end of next week.
  10. And as picture 2 shows he has a big amulet. Obviously a fake.
  11. Why was this one raided and not all others too? I just googled Pattaya vape shop and...
  12. You can format every SD Card in any format you want. An external drive can depending on the storage size be FAT, FAT32, exFAT or NTFS. Since this is on partition level you could even use all formats on 1 external drive at the same time. But you have to create partitions and format them accordingly. In respect of performance of FAT32, exFAT and NTFS below a link where extensive tests were done. But in the end there is not much performance difference when you use it. In respect of NTFS. If you format it to NTFS then yes - there will be problems with mobile devices and perhaps also with some TVs. Bigger SD Cards are pre-formated with exFAT. This works on all mobile devices. No need to change the file system to NTFS then. https://www.flexense.com/fat32_exfat_ntfs_usb3_performance_comparison.html
  13. One final advice. I would not by USB Sticks anymore. These here were advertised with very high read speeds. Yes. But the write speed is a nightmare. In addition they get very hot. And you can't use them in a phone or tablet. Better buy an SD Card + card reader.
  14. What is the problem with SD Cards? They are faster than your Seagate HDD - I have them too. In total I have 11 harddisks. One died after a week. Some later. But I got them all replaced because of the warranty. I have about 15 SD Cards. One of them died. I still can read everything but not write to it anymore. Backups you need in any case if the data are important. And for instance the SD in my tablet has been working problem free for years and since I (legally) download movies almost every day there are several GB of data written to it every day. Afterwards they are moved to my PC (to the many harddisks there).
  15. No problem. Here is one I bought long time ago. Just look that you buy a SD Card reader that can handle SDXC (up to 2000 GB) and not only SDHC (up to 32 GB only). They are very cheap. Just a hint. If you buy such an SD Card keep for the warranty the receipt and the package.
  16. You could move the desktop folder to a different drive. But since it is removable I wouldn't do this. You simply create a shortcut to a folder on the external drive and you are there with one click.
  17. No - I wrote that they are faster than a conventional external hard drive. I wouldn't buy an external SSD. The reason is that I can put SD Cards in my tablet and phone. Try this with an external SSD ????. They are fast enough for many things and small.
  18. It is like an external hard drive. It is faster and does not break if it falls down. It doesn't go into sleeping mode. It doesn't make noise. You can use it also in many phones or tablets. If you buy one look that you buy an SD Card reader that is USB 3 and can handle more than 32 GB storage. I have many for my TV and also for my phone and tablet. Here are only some. I have many.
  19. Think about the SD Card. It is much faster than a Harddisk. Easier to handle and the system will not notice any difference.
  20. Just an other idea. You don't need much storage. Why not use an SD Card? My tablet uses one in addition to the normal internal storage. No problems. But look that the SD Card reader can handle the bigger size and is USB 3. More infos if you are interested.
  21. This is a fake. Don't buy. You don't get 1TB for this price. Buy at a known seller like Advice or JIB. Sorry just see that you selected 250 GB. But better buy a known brand. There is a lot of fake.
  22. I am not sure. The video isn't very clear. But isn't this a SATA connector on the first picture and a power connector on the second picture? But anyhow. If he can live with an additional external hard drive perhaps it is a simpler solution. Just look that it uses USB 3. And if you don't want to be annoyed that the disk goes always into sleeping mode after a short time look for one that doesn't do this.
  23. Why don't you buy a bigger internal harddrive? Just be careful - it depends on the BIOS version if it can handle discs bigger than 2TB.
  24. What we have learned from the recent case of a young Chinese lady. It is better to travel using a VIP service. Then things like this will not happen.
