  1. These days you can go online and order groceries and get them delivered , there's no need to walk around supermarkets looking for things
  2. All this talk of GDP and the figures . Its worth noting that the U.K complies its figures differently to other Countries and so the figures can be misleading . Its all explained here . It is rather complex, so I wont try to explain it myself . https://ukandeu.ac.uk/is-economic-output-an-accurate-measure-of-the-covid-19-impact/
  3. Youngsters these days don't realise how good they've got it , feeling inconvenienced by having to go to TWO supermarkets instead of one to get their shopping . It wasn't too long ago that you could only buy produce that was in season and it wasn't available all year round . Distraught because they have to use tinned tomatoes rather than fresh tomatoes or having to go to a different shop to get fresh tomatoes .
  4. Your Wife is correct , its better to do it now as it would be very difficult to do if you accidently died . All the info is online , do a webseach and go to the U.K Government websites where they tell all you all need to know
  5. Every time there some delays at Dover , usually temporary delays caused by strikes or the weather , the Remain media post the stories as "Brexit causes delays at Dover* and people think there's some kind of blockade at Dover . We have produce going back and forth to the E.U as normal , although the truck drivers may have to show their passports when entering and leaving
  6. Stop there . I didn't make a compliant about that . I commented on how you switched from G7 figures to Eurozone figures , like you seemingly didn't know the difference between the two
  7. I do think that a lot of the Fathers do not realise a Child has been born . They just have condom free sex with a woman and be on their way the next day with no concerns about the consequences of STDS or pregnancies or anything and thus they never find out about a Child being born
  8. Once again. What do Canada, USA and Japans (G7)economy have to do with the U.K and Brexit . What is the connection between those G7 Countries and the U.K and Brexit . Japan/USA/Canada had a better economy than the U.K in 2018 according to your chart . Now what is the relevance of that information ?
  9. Yes, that was after someone mentioned the G7 group and I posted a graph of that group . So, what do Japan and the USA have to do with the U.K and Brexit ?
  10. Could you give me a quick explanation as to what the USA and Japan have got to do with the UK and Brexit ? What is the connection ?
  11. I do get the point that you are making , you dont have to keep making the same point . Yes, Brexit has has a detrimental effect on the U.K economy You don't have to keep stating that or hinting at that .
  12. Try this https://charticulator.com/gallery/gdp_g7_2018_linear.html
  13. You keep changing . You quoted figures for G7 Countries I commented on those G7 Countries Now you've changed it to the Eurozone , which is a different set of Countries !!!!!!!!!
  14. Pre Pandemic (2018), the U.K was faring batter than every other G7 European Country , apart from Germany , only Germany had a higher GDP than the UK . As the UK economy was thriving pre pandemic, we have further to go to reach those pre pandemic levels
  15. It may have been one of those Prime drinks by Logan Paul and KSI that were selling for huge amounts when they were scarce , but now some Supermarkets now have them available for regular price
  16. I have just been to my local supermarket and they seem to be fully stocked with everything , tomatoes from Holland and peppers from Spain among the produce available and I didn't notice and shortages
  17. I do think that the bit about the dog poo didn't need to be published , would be embarrassing for her
  18. The Tories had pledged to reduce immigration ,but they failed to reduce immigration due to exceptional circumstances which were pretty much beyond their control . I am just stating the circumstances and I am not looking to blame anyone or hold them accountable . (The Tories can be forgiven for letting genuine refugees from Ukraine/Hong Kong/Afghanistan come to the U.K)
  19. The figures that I provided do not show that though . Less than 60 % of people voted to Remain in the Referendum in Raabs constituency in 2016 . I didnt state what the current opinion is
  20. For his seat in Walton and Esher for the Brexit vote , the figures were actually less than 60 % in favour of Remaining , rather than 80 % In 2017 he got 58.7 percent of the vote in the General election
  21. The reason for the upsurge in immigration to the U.K has been those arriving from Ukraine , those coming from Afghanistan and those coming from Hong Kong and also students coming to the U.K who hadn't previously been able to come due to Covid restrictions . Those cases above are an abnormality to the usual immigration statics
  22. The rain in the U.K must have been stopped at Dover and cannot cross to Spain without a visa ? Huge backlog of clouds waiting to be allowed into Spain
  23. I did actually know that , I was highlighting one of the positives to emerge from Brexit
  24. Even the Guardian isn't trying to blame Brexit for UK food shortages . Record heat in southern Europe and chilly start to British growing season spell more misery for shoppers Shoppers have been warned they face more fruit and vegetable shortages, as temperatures in southern Spain soar to unprecedented levels while the UK growing season gets off to a late start because of cold, overcast weather. Temperatures were expected to reach a new April record of 39C (102F) in parts of Andalucía on Friday amid a long-lasting drought that has affected the production of vegetables in Spain. Córdoba reached a record 38.8C on Thursday. Spain has been in drought since January last year and this is likely to be the hottest, driest April on record. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/apr/28/fruit-veg-shortages-weather-uk-spain-crops
  25. O.K ,just one question . Is a weak Pound better or worse for U.K imports ?
