  1. I expect that quite a few posters will not be commenting on this thread
  2. What is the most amount of times that the cashier has counted your change out before giving it to you ? Mine is 5 Counted my change out five times before handing it over
  3. You was trying to think of ways why Western Countries are better and you couldn't think of anything and I gave you one example of why Western Countries are better than Thailand
  4. Just why cant Thais get organised and plan things beforehand . They've had four years to get TV rights organised and there still haven't got it sorted out . Seems like Thailand have made a low offer to FIFA for the TV rights and they are hoping that FIFA will accept the take it or leave it offer
  5. People back home usually now the answer to your question , as opposed to Thailand where they will have to ask someone else and there would be a chain of five people all asking each other and no one will know
  6. Putin will say it was an accident and NATO will tell him to be more careful in the future and nothing more will come of it
  7. If that's your opinion, I trust you wont be replying to me anymore in future ?
  8. Although that would be a World renowned specialist hospital where they may indeed go and learn something , I was talking more about Cornelius from Croatia going to work in Cricklewood general hospital
  9. TBH, I didn't really have the time to keep opening numerous links and reading the content and then replying to those links . Its a bit much to expect me to open six links , read all the content and then reply to it
  10. You can buy illegal things without the authorities being able to trace you through bank records
  11. The Pound surges to a three month high against the Dollar Pound to Dollar Rate Pushes Fresh Three-Month Best The Pound has rallied to a new three-month best against the Dollar as the major unwind of the U.S. currency sparked by last week's U.S. inflation data release extends. The Pound to Dollar exchange rate (GBP/USD) is now seen at 1.1880, levels last seen on August 26. https://www.poundsterlinglive.com/usd/17789-pound-to-dollar-rate-pushes-fresh-three-month-best
  12. Your link is from 2014 and it states that . "( At the beginning of this year, nine European countries lifted controls on labor immigration from Bulgaria and Romania, prompting some fears, particularly in Britain, about a flood of low-wage workers coming from two of the EU’s poorest countries. (As it happens, only a handful of workers from the two countries have arrived in Britain since the controls were lifted.)" That is when they were allowed to come to the UK and they didnt come , you were trying to show that Romanian Doctors wanted to come to the UK to work and the link that you provided showed they didnt actually want to come to work in the UK when they were allowed to "The article notes that the net starting salary for a doctor in Bucharest is about 350 euros per month, compared with as much as 3,000 euros in Britain or Germany." Then when you factor in home rental costs , local travel expenses , tax and other living costs , that 3000 doesn't go far
  13. Where can you find those cheaper flights ? Looking online and I found London-BKK flights for less than 600 Quid for November to February , where do they sell them cheaper ?
  14. I do think that flight prices are quite uniform and you cannot get special discounts or cheaper prices from certain places . What you see online is what is available
  15. They would also get paid money in their home Country and the NHS is not renowned for paying large salaries . How would they be furthering their knowledge ? Are you suggesting they could learn things in the UK that they couldn't learn back home ?
  16. I don't think that trains would be affected by road traffic jams but if lots of people are going to be arriving late , I would still get to the airport early if going by train . I always aim to get to airports at least three hours before departure anyway
  17. People were advised to leave for the airport earlier because of expected road traffic jams in BKK this week and it will take longer to get to the airport
  18. I expect that fully qualified E.U Doctors can find suitable job opportunities and careers in their home Country and moving abroad to work wouldn't be a benefit to them . Why would you expect a qualified Doctor from the E.U would want to come and work in the UK ?
  19. Do you have a link to that claim ? The link below from the NHS says they are recruiting new NHS staff from the U.K in their annual staff recruitment measures and there are now 29 000 more NHS staff than there were prior to Brexit and they are looking to recruit 50 000 more staff https://www.england.nhs.uk/2022/10/nhs-launches-recruitment-drive-for-tens-of-thousands-of-nurses-amid-record-staff-vacancies/
  20. Although just 6 % of NHS staff came from E.U Countries prior to Brexit and all of those were given visas to stay and work in the UK and also E.U citizens can now apply for working visas to work in the UK a
  21. Why didn't you move to another location in the U.K ?
  22. That also includes people who retire and move abroad . Did you move abroad and left the UK and are now complaining that Brits are moving abroad and leaving the UK?
  23. The Pound was below 40 Baht in 1995 and the current rate is the same as it was Ten years ago . Also , the strength of the Baht has nothing to do with the U.K or Brexit
  24. no not go downhill , just little down 555555
