  1. I just completed this quiz. My Score 60/100 My Time 52 seconds
  2. OP, You couldn't have picked a better time for this evaluation as I'm contemplating picking a Click 160 later this month. So overall a yay or a nay and knowing what you know now would you still have made the choice. Thanks for your info.
  3. One thought that crossed my mind in regards to the validity of the address is that people are always moving residences. I think it's rarely if ever do people update their Drivers Licenses accordingly
  4. That's pretty much my train of thought as well. If it was known to be as simple as showing up and the DLT would rectify the situation, I could consider it. But I can see your scenario b coming into play as along with having to shell out for a new set of licenses because it was my fault for being a farang 555. I will say though as I've been living in Thailand for over 12 years now I cannot think of one time when the address was ever looked at or even considered for anything.
  5. Just my luck, I returned back from the DLT and the GF looks at my newly minted motorbike and auto licenses and tells me they the wrong room number 347 instead of 547 of the condo we stay at on the back of the license. Is this something I need to go back and correct it or something I shouldn't worry about.

  7. So is it best to have your Residence and Medical Certificates' with you when going the first time to make your appointment to the DLT or wait to see what your appointment date is? Just concerned as both certificates I believe have 30 day expiration dates' and not sure what the lag time on receiving your appointment date is especially being on the tail end of high season.
  8. This was posted in another web site https://timelesslife.info/place-it-in-the-kitchen-it-keeps-flies-mosquitoes-and-other-insects-away?fbclid=IwAR2fH21qXXxi9oeuNeHdKXW7yrdSJmh9fBwKFLx3uQKKoNoLR-soKh1zE-Y
  9. You mind me asking how much Roojai charged you annually for your coverage on a Click 160?
  10. I've lived in Jomtien for over 10 years now and never had to supply these documents before
  11. Just a heads up, I don't know if it's been reported yet but I just went to Jomtien Immigration for my 90 day reporting and was told at the front desk that it's a new thai law where you have to fill out a TM47 form and have photo copies from your passport of both your front page and current visa stamp before they update your 90 days.
  12. Appreciate all your updates. I guess cynical me likes to think that the bank doesn't want to lose out on the extra ATM fees it's losing by allowing larger withdrawals inside.
  13. Well that's not good news, I was planning on going to the Jomtien (Pattaya) branch this week to do a withdraw.
  14. Unless I'm missing something on this site, it only gives what the actual exchange rate is. The daily bid rate is what Schwab uses on the transfer of cash to baht. Using the bid rate lets me calculate to the penny how much USD are relived from my account.
  15. Looking to transfer a sum of cash using my Schwab debit card in an OTC transaction. My problem is I cannot find the daily Visa bid exchange rate anywhere. I was using ferates website prior but for some strange reason they haven't updated since the 8th. https://ferates.com/visa/thb Would anyone have another link for this info. I would appreciate it.
