Thailand’s tourism ministry targets 80 million foreign arrivals by 2027

If it happens, the time has come for me to look for another country to go to live. -
I agree with you, it's not a general rule but only a good majority, for example yesterday I was at a restaurant and a young couple with a 4/5 year old daughter on the table nearby, the husband continued to read a book while the wife he looked continuously at his smartphone, and this in a holiday restaurant, where people should be relaxed and perhaps start a dialogue with their partner. For many Thais it seems that couples live in two separate worlds and it is also the reason that many husbands for work go to live far away from the family and remain separated without problems for decades. Which is generally impossible in the West.

Many of these so-called tourists are those who in cold places it was expected that there would be cuts of electricity and heating as well as a sharp increase in the expected inflation so many have improvised tourists in Thailand but I am convinced that they will not return when the situation will be calmed down in the West. -

Without coming to these drastic solutions it would be that the government starts to make a national law on the ban on burning in the open would be a good start, but I don't see any approach from the politicians in this regard for the next elections, to put the issue under the carpet like the usually they think it is but better solution. -

I followed the thread of your discussion with azimorane however it seems to me that your two friends had many problems together, you maintain that it is mainly due to a sex problem but it may also have been another previous problem and therefore they were both subject to a premature end. Sex addiction exists and no one questions it but it can lead to a tragic and less obvious end. However, if his two friends died, it was clear that they had major psychological problems and the fact that they also fell into alcoholism and drugs confirms it. Everything cannot be blamed on just being addicted to compulsive sex.

I remember a case in Udon Thani where the gardenian showed the thieves which house to burgle. Prisons indicate small spaces to live with rules you have to respect, I don't see much difference with the happy villages you describe. If you are willing to sacrifice this for your false security, and your choice.
