  1. Then why stay with them? No issues with SCB
  2. 2 of them? Really, a gang bust? Hardly. If the BiB were serious about it they would have surrounded the area and cut off escape and nabbed the lot. Its at night, so it interrupted their beauty sleep.
  3. outrageously slow. Mt transfer today took 4 seconds. ????
  4. She looks like a despairing, low class, aging hooker from Soi 6. Massively unattractive, excuse the pun.
  5. My g/f scares the hell out of me, so good luck any intruder. I do have my RAF Officers sword, but its ceremonial rather than a practical weapon. I suppose that I could salute the sxxt out of them
  6. I couldn't , a constant rule for me is never transit through an Indian airport. Indeed, never ever fly with an Indian Sub Continent airline, whatever the price .
  7. How very amusing, also totally irrelevant, you should be on the stage mate, you are wasted as a troll
  8. Thanks goodness that I don't live in the UK now, or will ever again. It's a basket case, run by muppets, with a feckless lazy workforce, who just want to holiday, strike for more pay they don't deserve or WFH.
  9. Any investment that requires a U Tube video to explain, that goes in 'a bit deep', clearly needs to be avoided and as for planning investments by way of Tik Tok; words fail me. No wonder people keep getting ripped off.
  10. Its not a matter of passport validity its a matter of complying with the immigration rules at both departure point and arrival point. That is what gets airlines fined. The OP passports did not comply with Thai immigration departure requirements in that they did could not have had a visa stamp, a departure card, or an arrival stamp, they were therefore invalid as a travel document from Thailand
  11. and you think that trafficker's can't do all of those things? Really?
  12. That is not my experience with our daughter . Mum did it all, I was not present.
  13. Of course they would not be allowed to leave like that. From immigration's point of view, especially in regard to children ( have you heard of human and child trafficking? ) who are they, how did they get into the country, why have they no entry stamp and no Thai visa. You are assuming things that Thai immigration would have no knowledge of. Immigration acting entirely correctly, the parents should have planned and researched more carefully and asked for advice, instead of assuming and getting it wrong.
  14. Of course they were refused leave to use a UK passport to leave LOS. I'm amazed that you were caught off guard by this as its just common sense. To leave on a UK passport, you must have arrived on one and have the correct visa/exemption and no overstay, of course they could not fulfill this obvious requirement. Citizenship is not an issue here. Yes, they do need Thai passports.
  15. you would be leading a stupidly risky life here if you took that advice. Keep your head down and stay 'grey', or risk the consequences.
  16. That made me chuckle. IOs have wide discretionary powers, so I would not just dismiss this as an IO acting outside of the rules. So what does he do about it? To me, it is to use an agent, I suppose he could also appeal to a higher Officer in Immigration. Good luck with that.
  17. I will not be booking air travel out of Thailand for at least the next 2 years. Its just good luck and planning that I live in a tropical location anyway and have no real need or desire to spend the money , or endure the hassle of aircraft and airports. Just crack another beer and stay by my pool and watch the mayhem that is air travel at the moment, from as long a distance as possible.
