    Great.

Now another important question that someone might know.

Is that hospital following the at least 6 months or the very new at least 3 months after second AZ shot protocol?

The Mrs had her 2nd jab end of September AZ and they said this morning when i had my booster that she couldn't have her booster till early Jan

    • Thanks 1
  2. I was getting a bit worried about it TBH I had 2 AZ jabs in England Feb & May and was going to wait until my visit to England in Jan for the booster (Not so sure it will be happening looking at the news) I was spooked when they said AZ wasn't much kop against omicron, so the Mrs went to see the local pharmacist yesterday he was so helpful, i was in at the local hospital this morning for the Pfizer booster just passport and copies of AZ jabs needed couldn't believe how slick it was.

I really feel I have to comment to put right the many incorrect assumptions and comments in this thread. The fact is that the BA flights which are cancelled are the BA09 and BA10 direct route LHR BKK and BKK LHR. This route has not flown passengers since April 2020 but has been carrying Cargo. The cancellation is just an extension of the current suspension. BA will still operate Codeshare flights to Bangkok through DOHA with Qatar and through Honk Kong with Cathy Pacific.

    I hope this is clear.

Yeah but they're still utter Kack, flew with work business class LHT to KL cost about 7k and i could hear the person in the next seat breathing not fit to lace the the ME airlines boots

Thanks for all the great information until now.

With lots of furniture I don't care about fancy design, they should just work and be good (enough) quality.

But I have a special sofa in mind. It seems these things are called Chesterfield Sofa. I think about something with velvet, certainly no leather. Something like this.douglas-2-seater-red-min-1.jpg

Where would I best buy something like this in Thailand? And what is the expected price range for good quality.

In the above picture I like the style and the color. I don't like the feet.

The original Chesterfields were dark leather but agreed not leather as it could result in very Betty Swallocks in this climate

Living in Isaan the only decent ish choice is Koncept.

I bought from them 13 years ago to furnish my 3 bedrooms and lounge, I got my kitchen stuff from Global.

All has lasted well, replaced the sofa last year, again from Koncept.

Just in the process of getting a house built in Loei province, the builder says that Homepro is the best but expensive so he recommended Global as far as i can see only Homepro offer a kitchen design service think i will see if there is a local Koncept store and check that out any further advice would be most welcome TIA

That would only work if a person used an agent and put the 800k baht in the bank themselves before the application  was done. Then they would only need the meet the rules for next year and do it themselves.

The cost of the agent though might be more than what it would cost to leave and re-enter the country.

So if you paid an agent to get the Non O and the 1 year extension (15 Months) and then deposited 800,000 baht or had 65,000 baht per month coming into a Thai bank account for more than 12 of those 15 months the following year you could do it yourself ?

I've done plenty of PCR tests but never a LFT, from what my daughter in the UK says the LFT is a do it yourself test done at home my question is how would you present the results at immigration and how would they know it was you who had taken the test ? I'm curious as they dont tend to take much on trust TIA for any replies

Sorry forgot to ask where would i get a LFT in Thailand ?

Doesn't have to be PCR, it can also be a lateral flow test, cheaper and quicker.

In any event surely you are flying out of Bangkok?mYou can get the test in Bangkok in as little as 5 hours (costs more though) or next day. L:ink given in prior post

Yes sorry should have been more specific Chum Phae in Khon Kaen province i just clicked on the medconsult link (thanks) I will probably have to go to Bangkok a day or two early for test dependent on how the UK rules pan out
