  11. I did read this on the embassy (USA) website: ***  Effective December 6, 2021, all airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within one calendar day of travel.  Alternatively, travelers to the United States may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel.  Check the CDC website for additional information and Frequently Asked Questions. Does this mean what??? Does it mean that it is OK if the girl take a test one calenderday before leaving Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi), is that OK you think??? glegolo
  12. I have a young girl here that is going to work/study in Anchorage, Alaska leaving here 29th of march and stay for 3 months... Tickets bought all good there..... But big worries now about the covid situation and what the demands are to enter the USA?? I checked the airline (Asiana Airline) who states in text the following; "[COVID-19 PCR Test Time Update] The negative PCR test must be taken within 48 hours before departure date from 20 Jan 2022". That is stated in the ticket, so that is understood. but what is unclear is still, what is the rules for being able to enter the USA?? Anybody who knows, or can tell me where to find information about this?? Many thanks for you help guys... glegolo
  13. It is up to YOU to plan your own activities, so yes you can expect it to expire and you have to start all over again, unless you follow OJ;s advise..
  14. Like OJAS says above, contact your embassy and ask them for direction tosolve this relatively easy problem you have... Like in my case swedish embassy knows the rules and what you need and what kind of income verification/confirmation...
  15. May I ask you guys.... If a couple (falang-thai) like to enter Thailand for holiday. Husband falang and wifey Thai.... Does she really need a insurance or can she just enter because she belong to the 30 baht scheme here in Thailand?? Grateful for your input.... glegolo
  16. OMG, certainly you are NOT swedish. Rubbish..... Swedish goverment and embassies have actively gone out and invited all these "scientists" and "doctors" and "engineers" from middle east and Africa to come to Sweden. We are in Sweden offering translators in loads of languages like arab, somali-talk (what is their language called??) and english, german and almost every language in Europe. Dont know why you write what you write.... Reason for Scandinavia to learn english language is because we share the very same culture with both UK as well as USA..... What regards the language of Scandinavians (Norwegian, Danish and Swedish) these languages are of german origin, just like your own (english) Or shall I say our scandinavian languages are more a forfather of the english language..... We gave you actually your language... Yes You´re welcome!!!
  17. logically, one would expect immigration to be able to deal with languages of sort, that are the most frequent ones to arrive to the country. THAT is my logic.......
  18. I believe that english is one of the world most used languages and of course should have it place in the immigration system.... So according to your logic most people who come here they do actually speak thai - hmmmmm interesting.....
