  1. They have hard to fight the viruses, pathogens and bacteria human blood transfer in to their system. Better kill them off, before they suffer. Already have too many dogs here.
  2. There you are totally wrong. At 4 am, I have had countless of great experiences. 😉🤣
  3. There is a regulation, but it´does not seem to be available easily online. Below is a general answer on the question: UK banks have the discretion to close accounts for non-residents, especially following Brexit-related changes. Banks like Barclays have been closing accounts for expats, and it’s unlikely to open a standard UK bank account once you’re no longer a resident. However, there are expat-specific banks that offer accounts depending on your situation1. It’s best to check with your specific bank for their regulations and any options available to you. Here is the reules that Barclays post online: https://www.barclays.co.uk/important-information/living-outside-the-uk/ The account mostly available in UK for non-residents is a savings account. Same as for most expats in Thailand. Therefore, it´s normal to assume that the people on this forum who have problems with their bank wanting to close their accounts, have standard accounts. If they are willing to change to savings accounts, they could probably remain in the same bank. The below will be a scenario that makes some people not have any problem with the bank account. What are the restrictions for having an address outside the UK and keeping your accounts open? from barclays.co.uk You'll only be able to have an address outside the UK and keep your accounts open if: You’re a UK Crown employee, or you’re the spouse or civil partner of a UK Crown employee
  4. What are you trying to point out? Just because UK residency is required for Starling Bank and a range of other UK based banks, where has that any kind of connection with the Thai tax? Please explain.
  5. Agree 100%! Definitely the best advice here. As usual, unthought comments with a lot of slur. I little bit like the pest you are referring to.
  6. But, slip-ups run in the family? So far seems to evolve and attack every generation.
  7. Yeah, of course they will be a problem. Animals that got the taste of human blood must be put down.
  8. I had already forgotten it. Why did they have to bring it up again? Please explain, what is BS in the comment you replied to? He already tried that before the legal proceeding started. It was refused!
  9. But, he lost control, and all is out of his ability to stop the accident from happening. All a big accident. No one to blame here. That will probably be the idiotic decision made at the end. We all know he drove to quick in the curve to have control of the vehicle, but that doesn´t matter.
  10. What a horrible loser! Taking that kind of teasing and still staying. After that transfer money. A complete fool! Now he get what he deserve!
  11. Once again it´s nice to know that the administration stands behind their officers in the force, leading them with stability and sense.
  12. Horrible action from, as they say, a criminal gang, someway connected to the university. Ongoing for year, without the university acting on it. The criminals should be removed from university with no possibility to enroll in any university nationwide, as well as stand trial with harsh punishments for their evil actions. The university should be barred from enrolling new student and only live up to their duties until already enrolled students got their education. After that closed down. Only way to make people wake up around here!
  13. Sorry, but I know 2 that does, and deliver on their promise. But, if you say so, then you are of course right.
  14. You are wrong. However, I am not sure I am allowed to post names of services that do financials here.
  15. Ok, understood! Then I would advise the OP to use an agent for the first time, as that is going to be more simple. As the OP asked for monthly, it might be that the person in question do not want to show 400k. For that it can be many reasons. Agents are proven to work fine in most cases. Hope this one was not off topic.
  16. One of them I know opened in Bangkok, another in Korat, 1 in Ubon, 1 in Rayong. The last one has slipped my mind. Documents where always passport and COR. Some got it in offices outside Bangkok, The guy in Bangkok and some more got it from embassy. That, as Division 1 do not issue COR to holders of 30 or 60 day permission to stay.
  17. No need for for agents. Even on a tourist Visa exempt it is in some banks and branches possible to open accounts. I have 5 foreign friends that done it only this year. I have a Non-O extension, that is correct. I also have 49% ownership with A-shares in a multitude of Thai Ltd´s, but this was private accounts.
  18. Yes, I understand all of that. I only talk about what was possible in some places. The other things you have already advised him about. Over to open a bank account. Also there, people have problems. I have 4 private bank accounts in Thailand. Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn and Siam Commersial and Krungsri, where 3 of them was opened the last 3 years. The last one, this year. All opened without work permit nor certificate of residence. However, COR is not any problem, more than 300-500 baht at immigration. Of course it help if you have a bag of money that you want to deposit at the same time.
  19. I do not have a clue, but I would assume they do not, as the rest of Bangkok immigration offices.
  20. It´s to be compared to a marionette where everyone who holds a part of the real power has a certain percentage of threads to pull calculated on their wealth and influence.
  21. No, I know that the majority does not, but some do and there is the difference. However, you also asked how it was helpful. Yeah, for me it is, and probably would be for others as well. Here I did my extension on the 16th of Aug, and they reset my 90 day for the first one to come 13th of Nov. That will mean, 1 save one trip when time for next extension as I can do that together with last 90 day, that will be about 1 week before my extension ends.
  22. No, it isn´t standard, as that´s exactly what I am trying to point out. There is not nation wide standard, as it differ from office to office.
  23. Ok, but there we apparently have a difference again. Recently when I renewed my extension, they took my visit as a report and counted 90 days from that day.
  24. I don´t have to point it out. You are showing me papers of rules and regulations. How many of all the rules and regulations are bent or broken in different ways of different people? I just know the option in certain places exist. That´s enough for me.
