After that the girl usually have their first child when she is 13-15 years old and her future is ruined.

Just knows out of hearing from my wife´s village and surrounding villages as well as villages in provinces spread over Thailand where relatives are living. In almost everyone of those villages there is a girl that has married the Thai traditional way at an age between 12-14 years. You would be surprised to know how many parents there are who married away their 12-15 year old daughter without any person accusing them or any law enforcement involved as well as the temple monks have smiles all around and condone the ritual marriage.

Normally they do not write it like this is consent was not given. Even if it sounds very bad, some parents actually give their consent just because the need of money. Yes, of course it is sad. However, the man is 57 years old and there is no information about illness or being handicapped. Neither no such information about his wife. At an age like that, you normally do not have your daughters home as the only resort. Is any of them working? Maybe they can not find the right work, but have to take whatever they can find to support their life and relationship. At least if they do that, they would surely be able to rent a room for about 2000 baht per month.
