  1. I live up North... this past May I purchase a re-entry permit to visit Laos for a few days. The IO told me if I returned to the same address, I did not have to do anything. So, I did nothing. When I renewed my retirement extension last July, I had no problems. Based on my experience vs those of other commenters, perhaps it would be advisable to ask at your local Immigration Office?
  2. Really? I would think closer to 88 years ago... that 12 step thing started in 1935... Regardless... just as true today as when first spoken...
  3. "On December 7, 2023, reports emerged" Come on... that is almost last year...
  4. crispy bacon maybe 555 Or sausage... eggs cooked in the bacon fat... over easy or sunny side up, definitely with home fries, bread, butter, preserves, maybe steak, definitely coffee... aka a barnyard breakfast... Whatever, however it is constructed... guaranteed to spike your LDL and clog the arteries...
  5. It is kind of like the telephone booths from the fifties... always room for one more...
  6. I'm just here to clarify for those who may be unsure... denial is not a river in Egypt....
  7. Wow... that kind of stinks... Knock on wood, but I never carry my passport unless going to the bank or leaving town for a couple days... I have photos of the passport, original visa and entry stamps on my phone... never had the occasion to test.... Do you carry your passport all the time now?
  8. Don't know about anywhere else, but I've been noticing a lot more Chinese tourist in Chiang Rai than I ever have before.
  9. I could be mistaken, but is seems that every time they try to boost Chinese tourism by reducing costs the result is the opposite. Perhaps they should try making it more expensive...
  10. If not on the birth certificate, wouldn't DNA establish claim?
  11. Yes, I always bring my passport too when traveling. It is the law, and one never knows...
  12. I'm an American. Thai ID has name and address in Thai. Maybe they know all Americans are crazy and carry guns??? lol
  13. Interesting Jag... I have had a few raised eyebrows and a few showing to another agent, but I have no real difficulty except for that one time mentioned in my post. PS: I do always carry my passport when traveling - just in case. But, have not had to show it.
  14. Na... to quote the Dead, "Get out of the door and light out and look all around"... AKA "get out of the self help room" and learn what a woman looks like...
  15. This is a few years ago, but I was flying domestically out of BKK (not sure of the airport or the domestic carrier (the one that smiles or the one that knocks on wood) but while getting my boarding pass printed at the counter, I gave them my pink Thai ID... They wanted my passport... I resisted... they really wanted my passport... Finally they relented and gave me the boarding pass. Sometimes, when entering security, the ID checker will need to check with a higher up before passing me through.... I don't know maybe I just have one of those faces!
  16. I believe Florida, USA may have an amusement part for sale... Shipping and import duties may be a challenge though...

That is your opinion of how one should approach specialist... but not necessarily the best, or safest approach. My car won't start... it may only need air filter. I take it to one mechanic he may simply replace the filter, I take it another who first replaces the injectors and then the air filter. About 16 years ago I had a problem with my lumbar spine. The orthopedic specialist ordered the removal of 2 disks and the fusing of 3 vertebra. A different doctor suggested simply trimming off the protruding section of the disk... This is what I had done and today, thankfully, have full mobility. So... blindly following a doctor's suggestion does not necessarily bring the best solution... ALWAYS, do your own research, talk to many doctors, do more research, take responsibility for your own health and well being, AND THEN make a decision on how to best move forward for YOU based on all the information available. This is simply my opinion and what works best for my life. You are free to think and do what ever works best for your life. Oh... and most doctors in the Kingdom do not like what works best for my life.

Jen, you are taking your opinion and trying to apply that as what should be norm for all men. Logically, that is a fallacy. Personally, I prefer to keep all systems operating as close to normally as possible - that is just me, other people can, and should, do what's right for them. Finally, what is the normal range for T? They say for men of our generation the "normal" is that of a 12 year old. The "normal" is simply the average range in an age group - not necessarily the optimum level for the best quality of life (which is different for all of us). For me personally, my T is in the "reference" range of > 50. After doing my research, I chose to increase it to the range of a younger man. The result has been feeling much better, performing much better - in all area. I also include HCG and a estrogen inhibitor... As I said in my previous post, the best recommendation for anyone considering this is do your own research, understand what these hormones do and how they interact. Then decide how you want to live your life. Live long and prosper.
  20. Sure, you can carry an iron bar anytime you want. It's the act of actually hitting someone with it that will get you in trouble... lol

You are certainly entitled to your opinion J.Z... I would suggest anyone thinking about TRT do their own research - learn the processes involved, the interactions of these hormones and what they actually do.
  22. I've been thinking about picking up an air fryer. Can you make any recommendations, or tips on what to look out for? Thanks!
  23. Iamloki replied to swissie's topic in The Lounge
Not actually 100% accurate. True that T will trigger the body to stop producing. That is why long term users also take HCG to turn the "factory" back on and maintain testicle size...
