I clearly recall, about a decade ago, when a small Japanese island was hit, directly, by a true SUPER TYPHOON. The winds were far stronger than anything Florida has ever been hit by.....and.... On this Japanese island.... The lights never flickered, the power remained constant and steady.... Even during the very height of the storm..... There was almost ZERO damage, and very little clean-up after this SUPER TYPHOON. If Floridians wish to live by the water, then they should just follow the example of the Japanese..... On both Miyako-jima and the island of Taiwan, we build our houses of reinforced concrete. Reinforced concrete is impervious to 170-mph winds. All power cables must be run underground. Otherwise, .... a. Just move away or.... b. don't complain Just one of the WEAKER buildings on this Japanese island.... If you want to live in Hurricane Alley.... Then design your houses and infrastructure accordingly...or.... Stop complaining when your FING houses get flattened by the wind. It's as simple as that..... Don't complain.

Dear Folks, On this Sunday, just as on any given Sunday, no matter whether or not one might be at church, on a Sunday, ..... This fool believes.... Not in much. Except, that.... We are livin' on a fault line..... I also believe, this Sunday, that the Doobie Brothers are still missed, and that they are one of the greatest bands of all time. Why they separated, far too soon, is really a mystery. OK. Very sorry to have repeated these threads....but...honestly... I had not seen them. Still.... Really nice that others are complaining...much more forcefully that I ever could. Let's hope something good comes of our complaints.... Why do people need to re-invent the wheel? I do know, but then, I have no time to tell you all that I know.

Sorry to hear this.... Stop the jabs, maybe...though I am no doctor, nor any type of vaccine scientist/researcher. Once one reaches an advanced age, however, we do know that vaccines have less positive effect, due to reduced immune response, as the result of age. As we age, we become less able to mount an immune response after receiving a vaccine. Therefore, it's all about cost/benefit, I guess. I have never heard of anyone getting 8 injections of the same vaccine..... I once had 6 injections of the RABIES vaccine.... And, fortunately, I did not contract the dreaded rabies...... Also, to this day, I have no fear of water.....either. Maybe, in our society, we should have more protection for our elderly population. As we age, we become, on average, less able to discriminate fact from fiction. Not sure what my brain might look like...at age 85. But, my guess is that it will not be pretty. We need better ways to protect our aged population....from the charlatans in our society. I hate scammers who prey upon the weak in our society. HATE is not a strong enough word...in fact.

EIGHT. Is your mother Chinese? 8 is a very lucky number, in Chinese culture. I have great respect for your mother, or anyone, who can have eight jabs, and still ask for a ninth. I see nothing wrong with this....as long as these shots are FREE. After all, somebody needs to be test subjects. In the past, drug companies once used PRISONERS for testing drugs. Now, they just use the general population, which is US.... I really do not care...because.... I have suffered no ill-effects. Even if I did suffer ill-effects, I would not complain because...... Our world is deteriorating so fast that.....any shortening of my lifespan.... Would be seen by me as.... A positive side-effect. No worries.
