This is not the first time that this well-known LYCANTHROPIC effect has been validly documented. Not only can human madness cause the Moon's surface temperature to decrease, but, periodically, when the Moon's surface actually increases in temperature, then some susceptible male humans succumb to various lycanthropic symptoms..... Such as, for example: This is known as a Positive Feedback Loop, whereby, if left uncorrected, the Moon's surface temperature will continue to increase, exponentially, just as more an more male humans start to exhibit evermore severe lycanthropic tendencies. Tail-growing is just one example of such psychosomatic lycanthropic symptoms. No doubt, both are also related to slightly less albedo of the upper atmosphere of the Earth, due to decreased use of fossil fuels needed for economic activity. We also know that the Moon is gradually moving ever farther away from Earth, and will, someday, fly out into outer space, never to return. This will be the end of Mankind.

Dems fear harris is MIA during campaign stretch: …
GammaGlobulin replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
Actually, what I REALLY believe is that.... Out of the Motley Crew running for Prez and Vice Prez...... The ONLY one who has enough brain power to be a decent president of the the USA....is probably VANCE. I would prefer to see him elected as the next Prez of the USA. Not sure how this could legally happen....though.... The thing is.... VANCE has enough education and smarts to be able to reverse his positions, based on something other than pure ideology. I prefer someone to be president who does not just BLUNDER FORWARD on a path based on nothing but....BLIND FAITH. Vance is probably the only one of the Motley Crew who might make a surprisingly decent president..... Just a suspicion..... -

Dems fear harris is MIA during campaign stretch: …

She does not have the.... Fortitude Grit Staying-power Brains Charisma Etc... To even run for Prez.... Much less to BE Prez.... For even One Year, much less Four Years. It's one thing to "dream" of being president. But....being president is very hard work. Very few have enough energy for the job. Not many have the daily, day after day, raw ambition and toughness to face the grind. Just look at what happened to Nixon..... Down on his knees, praying with Kissinger.... Oh Wait.....speaking of being down on one's knees..... I often wonder where Trump, during these past many years of being in the race, the rat race....finds this stamina. And, for this one thing....I must admire the guy, even though I do not like the dude. Does anyone think that Harris has anywhere near the stamina of a Trump, a Nixon, or a few other presidents that have had their feet held to the fire...for years? Look at what happened to Lyndon, for example. The presidency can break men....and does. Harris is not presidential material, just from a resiliency perspective. It's simple to see. Maybe YOU do not see, but I can see, just as can many others. -
Dear Folks, Having just been notified that I may soon need a dental implant, or two, I realize that I am no longer the young man I once was. And then, I got to thinking... What is my favorite Old Man novel, and my most revered Old Man song..... I guess, it's hard to top The Old Man and the Sea, even though so many critics of the time POO POO'd it.... (meaning they pooh-poohed it)...... Maybe you also might think of that very OLD Italian MAN in the book Catch-22. There are just too many good OLD MAN and OLD MEN books floating around, and it's impossible to think of just one. However......Concerning one of the best OLD MAN/OLD MEN songs of the past 100 years, then I can't think of another, off hand, that might come close to this..... But maybe you can, and I am sure you might, think of something that can top Neil Young's.... Neil Young is older now, but he is not writing songs any better than he once did. Maybe his music is such that, when we hear it, we can still recall almost exactly where we were when we first heard some of his tunes..... Personally, I associate the Harvest Moon album with Martha's Vineyard, and Honda motorcycles, and wealthy girls with huge houses in Princeton, NJ. There used to be a community of HIPPIES living in tents in the backwoods somewhere off the beaten track on Martha's Vineyard. They lived in a veritable dump, but seemed pleased with their way of life, at least during summer months. Things change, and when we look back we wonder how we might have done some things we once did, or thought what we thought. And I wonder how much longer we can hold out here, too, now that we are aging fast, and now that some of us seem to be in the final throws of our glory. Whom among us will take up the cudgel and keyboard when we are tool old to type, as we just.... Fade away, like the Old Keyboard Warriors MacArthur almost wept over, who will never really die..... Just continue fading.... And fading..... Bit by bit...... By bit. So, how many Old Man or Old Men songs do you know that are better than this one by Neil? Just wondering. Best regards, Gamma Note4: But... there are younger men, joining these days, who will one day...in fact....sing about us Old Men, and sing our praises, just as younger singers may sing about Neil Young, these days.... We will be remembered. Don't you worry about that.... Though we may, gradually, become toothless.... Figuratively speaking, of course.

In my view, that might be considered unethical. Taking Money For Nothing is something that I am absolutely averse to begin doing at this late stage in my life. You know the old song, I guess: I am NOT of the MTV generation, after all..... Kids these days take money for no hard work. In my day, such a concept was totally unthinkable.

My apologies for my forgetting one important THOUGHT in the Original Topic, which is: a. Tomorrow is a SUNDAY. b. Therefore, I do hope that those of us who will be attending Temple or Church tomorrow, Sunday... Or those who have already attended Temple, today, Saturday.... 1. Will give thanks that we are fortunate enough to be living in a Land with Excellent Dentistry. 2. If you are a Sunday Church Goer, then please give thanks tomorrow. 3. If you are a Saturday Temple Goer, then please do your best to, tomorrow, give thanks retroactively, yesterday, on Saturday. Or, if you are reading these words, at this moment, you can still give thanks on Saturday, even though you probably have already left Temple, by now. c. And, if possible, let's all say prayers for those of us who will soon be reclining on the dentist's chair, awaiting whatever is to be. d. We are a product of our genes, our environment, and the expression of our genes, which is a combination of our environment, and also our ancestors environments, historically speaking, and gene expression, which is a product of many of these things. e. We are not to blame, mostly, for the state of our dental deterioration, as we age. f. Therefore, let's all say prayers of good dental outcomes....for us all....as each of us, in turn, face our own dental crises....day by day, month by month, and decades upon decade, until...finally....there will come a day when our dental statuses will matter no more to us, but only to the worms. And, referring back to the OP, I have always been astounded that there are Peoples who are able to survive without modern dentistry, no matter how very tough this must be. Therefore, Folks, can we please give thanks, tomorrow, this Sunday? And let's try to remember all members in our prayers tomorrow, and today. Thank you. Regards Gamma

Thailand Welcomes 26M Tourists, Rakes In 1.214 Trillion Baht

Hopefully, the local natural environment will be protected under this onslaught of Peoples from overseas. -
Dear Folks, Most of us must face various dental procedures throughout our lives. And, most of us find modern dentistry to be rather uncomfortable, at best. So the question is: If you were a member of the Mashco-Piro tribe, do you think that you might find dentistry among your people....painful....or NOT? In my opinion, it must be the case that the Mashco-Piro people have discovered some ancient way to drastically reduce the pain of their art of dentistry. For example, I have heard that there are people living in the hinterlands of China who, due to high mineral content in the water they drink,....need not brush their teeth, while also not experiencing even one dental carie throughout their lives. I am not sure if this might be true, but I do believe it. Now, back to the Mashco-Piro people: a. What do you think it might be like to have your teeth worked on....there? b. Do they just naturally feel no dental pain, no matter what? c. If there exists any pain among the Mashco-Piro, then how do they cope? d. And, what would you do to solve your dental problems if you were a member of this completely uncontacted tribe which has almost zero access to medical syringes? IN FACT: This video is quite interesting. You can see that none in this rare footage seem to be suffering from caries, for example..... Therefore, in your opinions, what secrets do these people know that we, on the outside, looking in, do NOT know, concerning proper dental hygiene and diet? I really need some input on this Topic, being that i will very soon be under the knife of some modern-day oral surgeon.....shaking and trembling....as the doc shoves a needle deep into my upper palate, and I mean the HARD palate, too. Maybe I should have been born among the Mashco Piro...is what I am thinking, at this point..... We should consider, I think, what it is that keeps these people from getting caries, while we have all sorts of dental infirmities. I, for one, will do a bit more research on this..... Best regards, Gamma

a. Well, I would be willing to pay the courier a commission. b. But, I will follow your much more sensible suggestion....with a letter of authorization, if required. Anyway....TKS!

So, I owe you a debt of gratitude, even more than what is owed to me by that company. I will just give this to a friend to handle, since I refuse to provide my bank details to that company. Concerning return of cash.... I expect that they would send the cash back to my address, by courier, is what I would expect.... Which is the same way they got my cash in the first place. Simple. Oh well... Life in the Commie State is never easy, as only the Chinese know too well.
-
For one thing, I don't want to provide my Bank Account info to a Communist company. I paid them cash, and I want a refund in cash. Or, I will see if I can just let my friend take care of it. But, Shopee does not owe me any money, I don't think. Only the other company.

What is Mainland? Mainland China, or something? All I know is that the Stilton I used to buy in HK came from Mainland England.
-
I will TELL you why.... In fact, it is NOT WORTH Bt3500.00 to me to even have ONE MORE WORD with the customer service at that company. However, if you say that there is some way I can give this money to a friend, then I will do so. But even that, I do not know how to do. The money is due to refunds. And, the money is tied to my account, and to my purchases. Therefore, if you can tell me how I can just give my password for my L account, to a friend...and let her enter her own personal bank info....THEN, I will honestly say...Thank you, to you. I can't wait to settle this and put this company behind me...one and for all!!!!!!!!!!

I have zero objections to the game of golf in Scotland.

Anticlockwise, you mean?
-
Yes. I have still not collected about 3500 Baht....and it's worse than pulling teeth. I may need to hire a consultant to get it back. Also, light bulbs, LED, are falling from the ceiling like rain during the Raining Season. I no longer buy from Lazada. Better to wait a few days and buy from Amazon. I do buy Vitamin D3, but this is the exception...for now and in the future.
-
So then... They have STILTON at Makro for a good price, do they? I would be interested in this, and only this, cheese.
