This is why I am considering asking the manufacturer to solve the sticker problem They must have accepted ways of cleaning their AC...right? The label does NOT show in the ads for this machine, which is not an Hitachi machine.

My other question: Do you not think that it is REASONABLE to expect the installer/manufacturer...to safely remove the huge UGLY-A sticker without damaging the machine? I do not have time enough to buy anything like this:

Would soap and warm water still work? And, most importantly, might it be less destructive to the polished plastic surface? I really do not know...

I will need to stop buying using AmEx Card from Amazon, now, it seems. My AmEx Card is not a Thai AmEx card. I liked it far better when Baht was like.... 38....many months ago. How long will I need to wait for Baht to return to 38.....would you imagine?

Hi Folks, Tomorrow, I need to remove the poor-quality energy stickers from an indoor AC unit. They are extremely....low quality, with bad adhesive characteristics.... What is the point in designing a beautiful AC unit, only to stick on an Ugly-A sticker. The other problem with these stickers is that they are very poor quality, and the adhesive seems harmful, cosmetically, to the machine, and the finish of the machine. What is the best way? I don't have a hairdryer, by the way. Is alcohol OK? Also, I have tried alcohol in the past, and alcohol does not do a very proper job, usually. If the machine were metal, then it would be easier. Some good companies, SMART COMPANIES, such as the water-heater company....STEIBEL ELTRON...provide the sticker in a box, separately, so that you can add it on, if you really LOVE it. You see? There ARE some companies that understand aesthetics, and the importance of beauty, and ergonomics. Other companies, most companies....have no clue. I do not to pay so much money for a complete EYESORE! Why can't major companies understand this simple thing, just as does Steibel Eltron? Are they completely OBTUSE?????? So, I need to remove the sticker before having the unit mounted on the wall. But, I just need to make sure that the plastic finish is not damaged in the removal. And, the energy stickers are GARBAGE quality, for sure..... Really need help with this..... BIG TIME! I NEVER get any Windows activation warning garbage. MS never contacts me, these days, for ANY reason. You really must get rid of Windows if you wish to be less stressed in life. And, it's easy. And, it's completely free, and very secure. Just go with OpenSUSE Leap 15.6... How hard is that? NOT HARD, is the truth.

Will the app run on my Linux OpenSUSE Leap 15.6 desktop? Linux is important opensource software. Linux will be more secure for documenting New Travel Rules... And, fewer glitches, too.

Just a note about one method if one is on KDE: https://kdeconnect.kde.org/ But the question still remains... Is KDE Linux more suitable for file sharing between desktop and Android phones? Or, is it Windows OS or Apple OS. Android 14 seems to work extremely well.

Dear Friends, If you feel this is just a dumb question, born out of my own Phone-Ignorance, then I am not prepared to argue the point. However, here is my question: A day ago, I connected a cable from an A55 Samsung to my Linux Desktop. The Linux Desktop connection I used was a 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port (USB Type-C) The A55 port I used was just the single .... The reason I am asking is that, compared to what I am used to, in the past, using a NOTE4 with Win7, Win10.... Seems to be lightning fast. Also, it just worked..... There was no setting up of any extra settings, as I recall I needed to do on Windows Desktop, in the past. In the past, Android Marshmallow was a real chore, just to get files to share quickly. And often, it was a complete NO GO, in fact. This is the first time I have used Android OS to do filesharing between LINUX, Leap 15.6. And, as soon as the Linux Desktop was connected to the A55, the difference was incredible. So, do you think that using a Linux desktop truly is far easier and faster with Android 14, than using Windows-10 with Android 14? And, if so, why? Sorry for this dumb question, if it be one. But, I am really curious to know if Android actually works far better with a Linux desktop compared to a Windows or Apple desktop. Many years ago, I thought that Trump was bad. But now, I realize that Harris is even worse. People talk about Trump being a threat to the world, and a threat to democracy. Yet, I have not doubt that Harris is a TRIPLE THREAT, compared to Trump. I am old. I have not much skin the game, at my age. I just feel sorry for this state of affairs in US Politics. People seem to not understand just how bad Harris could be...as Prez.

I hate dealing with most males here. Give me a girl sales person, any day. Girls here are smarter and know how to communicate. The males are shockingly obtuse, in every way. Sorry for resorting to this generalization, which is normally not a good thing, but then...the guys here are not so normal, in many cases. And then, you go your IQ problem, as well as lack of education about the world. I am just speaking comparatively, meaning dealing with those in East Asia versus here. I am only reporting my experiences in this regard. I would have a LOT more to say about this...but.... I know that I should not write too much on this forum.

Yes. This is exactly what I had been considering. I do not use a smartphone for much outside the home. But now, it's too late for me....already bought a new phone...which is NOWHERE near as good as the NOTE4. In addition, as for me, I will never buy anything in Thailand from local retailers...if....I can possibly avoid doing so. For any consumer, its TONS better to buy in the USA, or in Canada, or probably in the UK. Buying in Taiwan is also OK. Guys in Taiwan are super smart....and they are much better trained.. And, they know how to communicate and deal with retail customers. The retailers here seem to hire those who are poorly trained....at least...this has been my experience. Once in a while, you encounter a very good sales person, such as at the JIB store I now buy from. But, good sales guys, like my sales person at JIB...are like... One in a million. Maybe it's different in BKK...I do not know. But here, buying stuff is a true nightmare, simply due to after-sales service. It's just not worth the stress and hassle....NO WAY! Very unhappy buying locally.

It would be impossible for me to be unfaithful. Just another good thing about the monastic life. Infidelity is stressful all around. I never feel this stress. I am lucky. Unlike you.

I hate scammers. The worst scammers sell stuff in malls, I have found. The only way to avoid scammers is to not buy stuff in Thailand, or as little as possible. Same goes for what happened to this guy. He was scammed by bad people. There is now more evil ones among us, these days. I was scammed recently, and I can understand the frustration that led this guy to shoot himself. Also, I agree with his choice of using the Smith & Wesson brand. Although, a Browning might have been even better. Don't get involved, no matter what. And do not fall prey to the scammers in the local malls. Everything is Good until after the sale...then the BIG-S starts hitting the fan. They will NEVER ADMIT to being in the wrong. This is a total impossibility. They will RATIONALIZE their improper behavior, and false claims, until the cows come home. And the male clerks at the mall are the worst, with almost zero scruples, the majority of them. Before being here a while, I never thought this could be true... But it is. Also, do not engage in immoral behavior or behavior which is different from what is considered to be acceptable and moral, by the majority. This is where this guy got into trouble, and in a fit of desperate rage, pulled out his gun, a type of gun that was not the same as he usually pulled out when he and his mistress met in seedy motel rooms.

Yes. And, I very much doubt that Trump could do a good Northern Georgia accent as well as Harris. We should care more about accents. Also, this is actually not a political Topic. It's about Georgia, mostly. Also, about exceeding the speed limit in Georgia. And the very great State Troopers there. They are super nice.

Dear Folks, I have driven through Georgia, many a time. I have even been pulled over for doing 89 MPH on 95. I actually love the Georgia State Troopers because.... They really do not care how fast you go..... They only care about giving you a very polite speeding ticket. They never chastise, whatsoever.... But the question here is: Do you think Harris would be able to do a Northern Georgia accent..... Authentically? I say that she could.
