I have no opinion on this Topic of using a Salt Spray Chamber for testing corrosion of jewelry plating. However, I do know the best way for testing the thickness of electroplated metals, such as gold, etc. I have used the BETASCOPE in the past, with some ill effects....to my bones....(no, not really any damage....)...

Yes. Maybe skyrocketed. I love EXTRA VIRGIN.....SPANISH....olive oil. I wish I could buy it at a lower price, though. I don't use MAYO....much.... So, I prefer to use just extra virgin olive oil on EVERYTHING.... I think it's healthier than most condiments. And, I prefer the taste, too. I pay around Bt.700 for 750ml of CARBONELL olive oil. I think that there are better Spanish brands that I have purchased in the past, but I cannot find them anymore. I like olive oil with more of a bite to it.....flavor-wise....

NOTHING so simple in life is a struggle for me. This is ridiculous. Just because one uses AC does not mean that one stops being acclimated to high temperatures while living in a warm climate. The body does not work that way.

I have a small house. I would say 1200 square feet, but have not measured it, precisely. It's plenty big for one person. And, I can get the temp down much lower with a smaller house. A few days ago, a Thai couple came to visit me. After 5 minutes in my house, the wife had to go outside to warm up. She could not take the cold. She just waited outside, and would not come back indoors. It's colder than Seven, maybe....

I do not know why... But, HK feels hotter than Thailand when walking in the city of HK. By comparison, Chiang Mai is far much more comfortable. Maybe it's the humidity of being so close to the harbor, and maybe it is the increased heat-island effect of HK Island. I do not know. All I know is that CM is more comfortable than HK.....for sure, ...especially this time of year.

Just get yourself a ..... PUNKAH PUNKAH Man..... What is a Punkah Wallah? Sometimes, when it gets too hot..... I send a wire to India....to find a Punkah Wallah to come here to Chiang Mai, in order to fan me. I suggest the same for you. When it's really HOT here in Thailand, .... A good Punkah Wallah can make all the difference. You can also talk to them, free of charge, if you have a credit card, and call the Credit Card Service Center numbers.....because.... This is the best way to find a Punkah Wallah, in India, without even trying.... I have called them MANY TIMES.... English....NOT TOO GOOD..... And, they NEVER ADMIT IT..... But, they are GREAT at fanning.... Try it....!

Dear Folks, Here on these pages, on TV, we often hear Farang complain about Thailand being too HOT! Why is this....anyway? I really cannot understand their complaints. For example.... Anytime I get too hot, I just visit the local AirCon Store, and buy MORE BTUs..... At the moment, I have about 70,000 BTUs going FULL BLAST.... And, for me, it doesn't seem hot here.....not a bit. Therefore, I ask you...... WHY Why do Farang Complain when....it's so easy to moderate the temps just by visiting the local store? When I lived in Hong Kong..... That was the time I REALLY felt HOT.... Hong Kong is actually HOTTER than Thailand, but you would not know unless you had lived there. I am talking....PRICKLY HEAT, Folks....! Wow....! This guy has it BAD! =========== So, anyway, I just do not understand why Farang complain about Thailand being HOT....when..... It's actually NOT. Thailand is NOT HOT.....NOT! Anyway.... Just saying..... I have not had prickly heat in about three decades. I do not welcome it, Mandrake, nor do I run from it. Here is my advice to all you guys who fear the heat, and complain about it: a. Go out and buy premium AirCons. b. When the sales guy tells you that you need X-amount of BTUs for your space....then..... DOUBLE THIS AMOUNT. c. Then sit back, in your lounge chair, with the AC Blasting.....and.... Sip a nice cool Gin and Tonic.....with some girl at your feet, massaging your toes.... This ought to keep you cool, and completely FREE of any complaints about the Thailand Heat..... d. One can NEVER have TOO MANY .... BTUs.... There is NO SUCH THING as too much cooling power. And....No Complaints about Thailand being too hot, which it is NOT.....
