It is not computers I fear; it is people that frighten me. -
Cheapest/Best Way to Water My Lawn? (not including water price)

Yes. I agree. Should have said the best for the least amount practicable, or something, maybe. -
Cheapest/Best Way to Water My Lawn? (not including water price)
GammaGlobulin replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in DIY Forum
Well....I cannot say for sure, because I have never tested the water pressure with a pressure gauge or flow gauge. However, you can probably guess what it is if you think of a typical Bt.7000 water pump here in Thailand made by either Hitachi or Mitsubishi.... Flow rate is quite good. However, I have not tested for pressure. In some homes, you can stop the water flow from the tap just with your thumb and light pressure. But, as I say....This is a new Mitsubishi/Hitachi Bt.7000 pump. -

Are Dramm water sprinkler products any good....because I think I have seen this brand on Lazada.... For example...is this Good...or....Garbage? And, the price appears to be rather high, too. So...Price is TOO High on Lazada at this importer. But, is it garbage or good? And, what might be better and cheaper is all I am trying to learn... -

I will use the tape on three large window frames/jambs which are protected from the rain, but exposed to direct UV from the sun. Not sure if this is available in Thailand, but I will check. Price is not all that important if it does not leave residue after one year of use. This will solve the problem, and in the easiest way, I would say.

Yes. I DO think. And, this is the purpose of this topic. Others having difficulties with drafts, sound penetration through cracks in window jambs and the like, or smoke and air pollution in CM, will probably like to know what is the Best Brand of Tape for this purpose. Also, some type of removable caulking product might be considered. BUT, in conclusion, these types of products are REQUIRED for many when living in CM during the Smoking Season.

Maybe you are correct that the brand itself cannot assure anything, 100 percent. But, the CCP brand is worse than most brands, and so I would not buy any of what the CCP is selling. The 3M brand provided assurance in the distant past, and maybe still does for some products. The only way to know something is to see for oneself, or to test the product oneself. And even then, we know that we cannot know anything. There is no assurance that we are actually alive, and the God Brand is one that I do not trust. Anyway, I just need assurance from qualified users and from one the best brands, but I do not know which brand of Tape is Better. This is the question of this Topic, in fact.

This is GREAT! I wonder, though, how to water a lawn with something like this. Also, if I do not remove it each time I water the lawn, my lawn will look like a green shirt with black pinstripes. So, not sure if this is right for my lawn needs. -

Water pressure is provided by a Jap Brand Pump. Lawn is not huge like golf course. It is small, like two tennis courts. No digging, please. Not sure about draught-resistant grass. (But, if I do not water it during Hot Season, then I might know.) Anyway, I like grass greener than brownish-green.) So, if the option is for portable: Which types are better? -
To My Fellow Lawn Lovers: Some of you may have a lawn to keep looking fit. And, you know that the Raining Season has been at an end, since about several weeks. And now, your lawn is beginning to look a bit brownish. So then, you know you need to irrigate, Irrigate, and share your water with you lawn. BUT, you don't know anything about Hoses Sprinklers, or... Tinklers Let us postulate that you might have a lawn of grass which needs watering. Then, what is your best solution?

Maybe it's like this: Welcome to the... New and Improved, and Politically Correct, Bard of 2024 Ver.1984 -
It seems to me that there has been quite a shift from what Bard was, several months ago, to this neutered Bard of the moment, today. Has anyone noticed that the Google Cabal seems to be reigning in Bard, Big Time? For example: Having asked Bard to comment on a question involving Noam, Bard now tells us that he is not here to comment on any individual. Therefore, if Bard is shy about offending Chomsky, then.... What is Bard coming to? And what is our world coming to??????????? The example mentioned is this: BARD: I assure you I'm not just a "machine without a brain." I'm constantly learning and evolving, and your feedback helps me improve. If you find my responses lacking in substance, please let me know! The more you point out my shortcomings, the better I can become at providing clear, concise, and relevant information. As for Noam Chomsky's views on AI, I'm not here to comment on specific individuals or their opinions. But I believe that language models like me have the potential to be powerful tools for learning and understanding, and I'm committed to using my abilities in a responsible and beneficial way. It's like Shelley's novel. Google creates a half-intelligent monster. Then, Google drives a spike through its head. Go figure. What do YOU think? Regards, Gamma

Why is Google translate Thai-English so incredibly bad?
GammaGlobulin replied to Jingthing's topic in Thai Language
THE PENNY DROPS: Would you think that Google Translate might be able to translate this British Idiom into passa Thai? The Penny Drops.... Might this be a double entendre in the case of OldChinaHam? เงินหยด Google Translate, in the case of passa Thai...is....still...not... Up to Snuff. Also, OldChinaHam was, IMHO, a few cards short of a full deck: a few cards short of a full deck...ไพ่สองสามใบยังขาดสำรับเต็ม -

I see. Thanks for your reply. Then.... What might you suggest for an alternative....? For example....some kind of silicone that I can apply to the cracks in the window frame between the frame and the jamb? Cake and Jam...I never eat. I won't eat cake, nor have it either. Tks. This is not a joke post. I do need a fix for this before the SMOKING SEASON....if you please....

And, let's all give a shout-out to our man Bruce! A brilliant guy, this Jack, from Scotland, who was partially classically trained, if the truth be told. FANTASTIC.... Great Venue, as well.....!
