  1. hit it with a hammer?
  2. did you do due diligence on the business ability to replay the loan? did you secure the loan with an asset? car? property? gold? no? well loaning a restaurant is a risky business, i think pretty much anyone in business will tell you this. so you were taking a risk, you hoped to profit but it looks like you'll lose the profit and the capital. what you gain is valuable business and life experience. hopefully you didn't load more than you can afford to lose? that would be very silly.
  3. no? then i guess you're not as handsome as you think, or as handsome as you're told, you are
  4. you just need to go to a beach, pretty much any mainland beach, to see the pollution, the water's grey for goodness sake, not to mention all the rubbish and plastic floating in it. come to thailand for the beaches? i think not.
  5. when all this is over, and he, and they, are out of power, and all the control freak cover up stops, and all the lies and corruption are laid out for the world to see, i fear history will not be kind to trump and his minions. remember, the truth bats last.
  6. easily done, i went to a thai friend's dad's funeral and was surprised to see they had arranged a funeral photographer, much like a wedding photographer. they do things different here, that's for sure.
  7. my thoughts are how these, on the surface wealthy people; married to a prince, high powered government job, are actually broke, and have no qualms about begging or borrowing money from others to sustain their lavish lifestyle, rather than lowering their expectations and living within their means. and how they are all pretty unlikable people. deserve everything coming to them.
  8. plus a get tough with cambodia, a sure vote winner
  9. they haven't. get out of the bar and enlighten yourself.
  10. absolutely, if you're in the game of paying a lady to be your girlfriend it really won't take you long to find another one. and everything will be rosy. until it isn't.
  11. my sister emigrated to aus 25 years ago, even then she had to jump through many hoops. unfortunately, it it what it is, stay calm and follow the procedure. it's worth it as they are amazing places to visit. people bang on about thai beaches but only because they have never been to australia and seen what an amazing beach actually looks like.
  12. I’ve supported her significantly ...and there you have it, no need to wonder or question further. you were not in a loving, romantic relationship, you were in a business relationship. go home, lick your wounds, realise and learn from your mistakes/experience, and get back in the saddle in a genuine loving relationship, not business relationship.
  13. the sad part was the crowd around them with their phones out taping it. you tape stuff on your phone?
  14. the parallels between america today and germany in the 1930s are startling. scary stuff. thank goodness i'm not american, and i have zero reason to go anywhere near that country. it's a horrific place at the moment.
  15. not sure i'd describe him as a daredevil, he is a hugely gifted climber, what an achievement. the coverage would have benefited from some decent presenters, commentators and pundits, though as an american production what could you expect?
  16. has sparked widespread criticism online over safety concerns whereas people, often children, standing and hanging on at the back because the vehicle is full, is fine?
  17. zero. coming from a country with free healthcare. 🙂
  18. guy's it's a different world out there. just thank your lucky stars we lived when we did and, quite literally, had the best of times
  19. why risk it? simply obtain the visa appropriate for your stay here. simple.
  20. in a case that has prompted renewed concern over road safety near schools. why only near schools?
  21. baby you're so vicious, you hit me with a flower, you do it every hour..
  22. what is hugely amusing here is the number of people mocking him for choosing an older lady, when i would bet my house the vast majority of guys here are old, unattractive - fat, bald, etc. but expect considerably younger ladies to find them attractive.
  23. says a man who's clearly never lived
  24. agree, surely the first place to seek information is from the people whose job it is to provide that information and facilitate the solution. but instead people come here. bizarre.
