  1. All these guys bragging about how many rental condos the wife and them own might be be hurting. don;t need to brag because it's just my normal life, but thankfully the gf has recently been selling her bkk condos - others she owns are outside bkk, and buying houses. she wasn;t getting great prices for the condos, but she's very happy now.
  2. the people are scared. my GF owns several businesses and is refusing to go to meetings in any high rise building until the building management can produce satisfactory building surveyor's safety reports, she doesn't care how much money she may lose.
  3. Architects for the project who specify and monitor construction and their necks may be on the line. doubt it, it should fall within the remit of building inspectors, a neutral (haha) body, if they exists at all?
  4. so fill in the form at your own convenience before setting out on your journey, what's the problem doing that? it's got to be done so, as my boss used to say; JFDI, just f**king do it.
  5. as far as I can understand from my wife’s description setting aside the bizarreness of this comment, get her the best option, an implant. don;t be tight with your money!
  6. Then Songkran accidents... statistically the number of road accidents during songkran is no different from the rest of the year.
  7. 1.7 M baht in a bank account? if nothing else, this displays a shocking lack of financial management awareness
  8. why are they complaining, if they had any sense they'd sell to a 'greedy local' and pocket a nice profit.
  9. why would i recommend a cafe on here, it would only encourage undesirables to visit
  10. how very dare you?! i'll thank you to know the government takes very positive actions, it closes schools for a few days and free public transport for a week. next problem?!
  11. true enough, the consumers didn;t know he was a nazi when they bought the vehicles. however, anyone buying a tesla these days is a different matter - though torching them is a tad too far.
  12. yea, and shops/bars selling alcohol, as in many countries the contradiction is not thai.
  13. long stay in Thailand ( Pattaya) 12,500 baht ( $367) no money in bank thru an agent is that legal? should you be here if you can't even meet the basic requirements and/or afford to be here?
  14. $100 per day? that sounds like a pretty low wage, unless she's only working a few hours each day
  15. but why not cut all free visas they are not free visas, it's visa exempt entry, the clue is in the name...
  16. not as crazy as the injured party appealing to the uk government for support in a case against another uk citizen, so potentially having the uk govt supporting both parties? fortunately the uk govt has more sense than to get involved in personal legal disputes in foreign lands.
  17. These charges include reckless driving causing injury and property damage, which carries penalties of up to one month in prison or a 10,000 baht fine, and carrying a weapon in a public space, punishable by a 100 baht fine. well, that will teach them.
  18. he wouldn't get away with it if there weren't so many dumb people blindly supporting him
  19. so, the highlighted problems are safety concerns and 'inefficiencies' in law enforcement, and the solution is infrastructure development. a certain lack of understanding of the problem perhaps?
  20. recently found out the GF has been offered 13 million baht for some land, add that to all the property and investments she has and i'd guess her assets are currently worth over £1m GBP, and that doesn't take into account the value of her various businesses. so no, she doesn't ask me for money 🤣
  21. fighting in the middle of the day, in this heat, good effort.
