OP, the poor sales assistants in places like HomePro must be sick and tired of people like you. they are at work it's their job to be nice to you, don't let your inflated opinion of yourself and ego get the better of you. treat them with respect as you'd treat any other member of staff regardless of age, gender or looks. when i went to open an account with bangkok bank they wanted a letter from my embassy confirming i was who i said i was. i said thanks, but no thanks. walked down the street and opened an account at k bank, took about 40 minutes. if someone doesn't want my business that's fine, i'll take my business to someone who does. no complaining, no stress.

i'm out for the 'festivities' too many idiots, thai and foreign. most of my thai friends dislike the excessive water throwing activities too and hunker down or go abroad on holiday. throwing water is 'fun' for about 30 minutes, after that it just gets repetitive and boring. but, everyone to their own.

not a thai problem, the rivers and sea around the uk are becoming increasingly polluted. back home i come from a small village which is increasingly attracting tourists, they leave litter everywhere, but also locals drop litter, we have litter picks every few months just to keep on top of the trash. it's a sad indictment of modern day thinking and living.
