I posted this mainly to show you how much devastation there is of even 35% of an area.
If Israel wants the hostages back, they should present a proposal to Hamas. The ball is in both courts. Either one could present a proposal.
"...beware of playing with fire, you will get burned." Joseph J. EllisThere wouldn't any devastation had the Palestine terrorists not attacked Israel in the manner they did, this is so obvious I don't know why you keep needing reminding of this, but of course you don't want to listen, it doesn't bother you when terrorists make another incursion into Israel and reward them by repeating another 7/10.
"beware of playing with fire, you will get burned." Joseph J. Ellis. Thanks for the quote but it seems more fitting directed at the Palestians than Israel as is being proven.

Just for a comparison, when the US dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki in 1947, 40% of Nagasaki's buildings were destroyed...
what percent of nagasaki was destroyed - Search (bing.com)I don't see your point, Israel has a task to dismantle Hamas for they started on the on 7/10, that task has not been fully completed, should the terrorists surrender and hand over the hostages the war would end, the ball is in their court. To quote Douglas Adams "you don't put 3/4 of a fire out, you put it all out."

Does it really matter how many tools are on the shelf?
Maybe you buy now one of them, and in 3 months you would like to use the other one, but you don't have it. Then 3 months later the same situation again. And then? Likely you will buy also the 2nd tool. And then you ask yourself: Why didn't I buy both of them and avoid the headache?
Should that occurrence arise the op can do another post on 'oh how I wished I'd bought both tools' instead of the op post of "Circular Saw or Angle Grinder - which would be most useful ?" 😉😂😂

How do you make a straight precise cut in wood with an angle grinder?
Re-read my post, I said most jobs.

That's kind of like asking whether I should buy a screwdriver or a hammer.
I'd buy the Maktecs, both circular saw and grinder. I had great luck with Maktec power tools in Thailand.
It's nothing like "should I buy a screwdriver or a hammer". An angle grinder will do most jobs a circular saw will do, but a circular saw wil never substitute an angle grinder.

We are talking about a country that has levelled 85% of Gaza, killed 30,000 people including at least 20,000 civilians and is on trial for genocide in the ICJ.
You don't think any of the condemnation is warranted?
I think that posters that use terminology like "sub human" are also disgusting!

I have both, and many other tools, and I never thought if I should us the circular saw or the angle grinder. It was always obvious which one should be used.
I use the circular saw for straight, sometimes precise, cuts in wood.
I use the angle grinder to cut metal, sometimes in places where it would be very difficult to use a saw.
In theory I could also use the angle grinder for stone, but I have no need for that.
What you might want to consider is a multitool, with carbide blade. Depending on what you do this might be helpful instead of above tools.
I have every tool known to man and at a guess as an avid diy enthusiast I use my angle grinder 90% of the time compared with the circular saw, but then again I tend to work with steel and concrete, a circular saw would give better and straighter cuts with timber. Maybe that should be taken into consideration before purchase.

I'll try to not do that again. What happens, I think, is I respond to a remark on a remark I made to someone else and then don't notice that this remark is from you. Like I said, I'll try to be more careful.
Thank you.

I said, then, that it was Bkk Brian who posted the video and called it "hilarious." You agreed with almost everything he then said. That was the gist of my remark. What ruins the debate (I'd call it an "argument") is when you get offended at something I've said that is a bit misdirected. Just call me out on it and be done with it. I guarantee I will never accuse you of something you said if I know you didn't. You say enough things of which I disagree that I don't have to make any up,
It is has become a habit with you of accusing others of saying something they haven't said, in my case 3 times now, please stop doing it!

I may be at times dramatic, but I am thinking logically - and, more importantly, fairly.
There is no evidence that the man in the video is or was a terrorist. And there's no evidence that the man in the video wants to remove the Israelis from their land. It is only obvious that he wants to protect his home and homeland, and I believe he wants to remove Israelis from it.
I take the killing of anyone very seriously, but I understand how the killing of terrorists and those who invade your country can be justified. I do take the killing of innocent Israelis seriously, and also the killing of innocent Palestinians, which you seem not to.
Bkk Brian posted the video and described it as "hilarious."1 hour ago, WDSmart said:He was in Gaza, in his homeland. He was not committing horrific acts in Israel, and there is no way for the IDF to know if he did, at least if they killed him as described.
Can't you see that videos like this of someone about to be killed are just like the videos of the people killed and hostages taken on Oct 7? You thought those were horrible. Why, then, would you think one like this is "hilarious"?You have made a fool of yourself again by repeatedly accusing me of saying things I haven't, I would appreciate it if you could be a little less duplicitous, it ruins the debate when you make stories up.

Why, then, would you think one like this is "hilarious"?Stop being dramatic and start thinking logically. The terrorist that was killed was part of the group that wishes to remove the Israelis from their land. In war when you are fighting the enemy they are to be eliminated, it is either you or them.
You take the killing of terrorists very seriously but innocent Israelis not so much.
Who has said that I think this is hilarious, not me, oh that's correct, something else you have made up to spice up your posts, it was not hilarious, it was necessary!

And though it doesn't make a difference to the deranged nature of the video, this man was presumably armed and set to defend the invasion of his homeland by the IDF. He was not a "terrorist," at least not in this video. And I'll bet you won't even admit to who the real "terrorists" are in this episode. He was killed not because he was defending his homeland but for the horrific acts of barbarism in Israel, the Israelis are keen for such attrocities never to recur again. The only way to stop a recurrence of these attrocities is to do what they are doing.

Israel and its supporters often leverage accusations of anti-Semitism to deflect criticism, silence dissent, and rally international support for their policies and illegal actions.

We had a look at some in or local Makro and the assistant told my wife that they are very expensive to run.

When a 9 year old Jewish boy is removed from his hospital bed by nurses wearing Palestine Flag badges and made to lay down on the floor it simply says it all about antisemitics!
An NHS trust is investigating claims a nine-year-old Jewish patient was "denied correct medical care" by a number of "Pro-Palestine" nurses at a hospital in Manchester.

i haven't watched RT for a while but it was pretty good, along with AJ, certainly exposed the things the US didn't want you to see and showed other side of the story. funny how they blocked RT everywhere so they couldn't be heard, what happened to those 'press freedoms' the west preaches about so much?Frank, you are not making sense, I think you have overdosed on RT.

yeah, so the western propaganda media telling us, however they've been claiming Putin was losing the war since day 1........doesn't sound like that in the first paragraph of BT99's post.
you ever get the feeling you are being lied to??The Russians were under the impression that their Special Military Operation would take 3 days, we are now into the 3rd year. The Russians have killed more of their own Orcs than Ukraine have. Wake up and smell the coffee, you are being conned and sadly you haave fallen for it hook line and sinker.
And comparing Russias state controlled media to the wests is very naive and at worst very stupid. The west press is not controlled by the government that is why it is called a free press, they are allowed to print what they like unlike Russias media that are told what to report by Putin himself, they are brainwashed Frank, don't make excuses for the murderous criminal that is Putin, you know it makes sense.

Future historians will underline both our collective betrayal and disastrous missteps with regard to Ukraine.
perhaps it's time for Zelensky to come to the table for peace talks then before is countries population is wiped out.
a few members on here more war hungry from their barstools than the western politicians are!!Just back in from the bars Frank, "endless slaughter for Ukrainians" but not for the illegal invaders that are losing circa 1000 troops a day.

That is your 'get out of jail for free card" which imo you have played far too often that the war didn't start on 7/10. Every man and his dog agrees when this war started but then these people are not trying to make excuses for terrorists!
