    I personally witnessed a guy driving a motorbike at a reasonable pace swerve to try and avoid a soi dog sprawling in the middle of the road. It spooked the dog which jumped right in front of the bike. They both went tumbling and the guy wound up unconscious on the road. The way his head was positioned indicated he likely went on to meet his maker.

    Same about your reply. Thais hold soy dogs in high regard. How many times have we seen articles here how a dog mauled, sometimes fatally, a child, then 500 baht and a wai from the owner (if there even IS an owner) handles the issue? There is more protection for dogs than humans.

    My personal observation is Thai English teachers have a remarkable understanding of English grammar - much better than most native speakers. Their spoken, unfortunately, is not good at all.

    That is a MAJOR concern of mine! They are truly zippy little machines, and I find myself driving a little more aggressively than I would with the older, slower models.

    After years of riding Honda 110/125's, I just got a Click 160 automatic. I love it! I still occasionally find myself looking for the gear pedal with my left foot, but it's just easier.

    I found myself a good Bolt driver then got her personal number which I call any time I need a taxi. Bolt takes an inordinate share of the fee. It didn't hurt that she is also easy on the eyes. ????

    I was shocked in 2002 and 2004 driving through the south, witnessing segregation was still in full swing at restaurants where I ate. Sure, there were no signs indicating such, but it was clear that whites sat in one section, blacks in another. Until the day that so many interracial babies exist and job applications no longer have the question of which race you are, this will be a problem.

    Talking with a BiB some years ago, he said he and his fellow officers wished weed would become legal. Those imbibing did things like order pizza delivery while the yabba/ice creeps made their lives a misery for all.
