Agree with BritMan....don't ever do that again. Get a camera, front and rear...essential. Drive like they will do that all the time. On long stretches I drive behind a vehicle doing a decent speed and sit there...... better they have a head on than me. I drive about 10 mins a day and have four near misses a week.

People might argue......but it is still dirt cheap to live here compared to the UK.......especially if you have rentable property or properties back in the UK/US covering your living costs here. I doubt our fixed outgoings are more than 40,000 baht pm all in.

Went stone deaf over a period of ten days.......no post treatment.....also left me with horrendous tinnitus. I was prescribed massive doses of steroids, but too late to save my hearing.

Similar to what you are already doing. I have everything UK related assigned to my son's address, he has limited power of attorney. If push came to shove I'd pay his water bill so I have evidence of being resident.....I'm also on the electoral role and attend the local GP surgery once of twice a year. Job done.
