    On the upside........ I find Americans (the ones not trying to shoot you) very polite and friendly. On the downside............ they seem to think everyone within a 100m radius wants to hear what they have to say.

    There is an LTR holder (supposedly) in our village. He claims to be a web based IT whizz kid. He lives in a wooden shed, the type lived in by the poorest of the poor, with his Thai gf and her mother. Can't see him boosting Thailand's GDP anytime soon.

    I drive the wife no more than a km every morning and every evening to and from her sugarcane fields along country roads............. typically I would have three, low level, near misses most days. Un*******believable.
