Okay I'll bite. He might have faced a charge of bribery......but there was no evidence Homan took any steps to assist/help the undercover agents to actually win government contracts, which was 'fair enough' as Homan hadn't even been appointed so impossible to prove. Had the DOJ gone for conspiracy to commit bribery then Homan would have been in deep trouble as just accepting the money would be enough, bearing in mind they were FBI agents he was dealing. But by the time the Biden DOJ had faffed about ,Trump came to power.......and it seems then that the new DOJ flagged he would be charged with bribery.....but oh wait... he can't be...because he hadn't been appointed....and the whole thing was quietly shelved. With a political will to prosecute he would be bang to rights for conspiracy and technically still could be.

How do you answer "what was he not charged with"?????

Sad story re O'Sullivan....he was "the man" for a long time on UKTV and then suffered a stroke in his late 50s. I looked up him a couple of years ago having seen an old TV clip and idly wondered what happened to him.

He was not targeted, he came up on the FBI's radar by chance when they were informed he was 'touting for business'. He was not charged because under US law he had to have taken concrete steps to deliver something to the person/company bribing him.....which he couldn't at the time as he hadn't yet been appointed.

Got the Paperwhite when it first came out. Little bit glitchy if you allow the battery to completely discharge and had a "white screen" a few times. but got it sorted by leaving it on charge for a few days.....otherwise fine. Got the PU backing cover.....and glued the magic-ring thing to the back of it so I can put it on a stand rather than hold it.

I have to agree.... It's a bit like banging on and on and on about someone not being an American citizen, not being born in the US, not having a birth certificate, then not having a 'long' birth certificate........very unseemly bring up the past.

So cutting through all the fluff this whole issue seems to boil down to..... 1. Avoid paracetamol if possible, but if you have a high fever take it 2.
