  1. Buy/rent? What's the difference? It is the same property 'experts'.....how do they inflate rents anyway? The landlord determines the rent and he pays the agent for his efforts in finding a tenant, not the tenant. If you want to deal direct with the landlords that can quickly turn into a nightmare.
  2. No expert in these matters....but I hear there are some people/companies that specialise in selling properties......be a good idea to have a look on their websites and maybe send them an enquiry.
  3. From a press conference given by Donald Trump on August 15, 2017, in the aftermath of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The rally, organized by white supremacists and neo-Nazis, led to violent clashes and the death of a counter-protester, Heather Heyer. “You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides.”
  4. Her reaction seems to say it all.....'seems'.
  5. Two groups.....one in the park, one in the conference????
  6. That's just one example of food......our total fixed outgoings, living in a three bed house are around B10,000/month......no way any western country could come close to that.
  7. I'm sure there must be some very fine people amongst them, on both sides.
  8. Absolutely not.....wife has mooted having hers done.......no way......simply not worth the risk to her health and wellbeing
  9. Admin say you have to post a link to any statements you make.
  10. Presidency The U.S. Constitution sets three clear eligibility criteria to run for president: 1. Natural-born citizen (born a U.S. citizen, not naturalized). 2. At least 35 years old. 3. A resident of the U.S. for at least 14 years. Since Elon Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and became a U.S. citizen through naturalization in 2002, he is not a natural-born citizen. This makes him ineligible to run for president. Constitutional Amendment: The Only Path The only way Elon Musk could become eligible to run for president is through a constitutional amendment. This would require: 1. Approval by a two-thirds majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. 2. Ratification by three-fourths of the states (38 out of 50). Such an amendment would be unprecedented and highly challenging to pass, especially for the specific purpose of allowing one individual to run. Phew!
  11. Where the satellites are is totally irrelevant.
  12. Odd that so many monks don't know that.
  13. Sad that it falls to 7/11 and the British Embassy to improve road safety.......says it all about the the Thai government and the RTP.
  14. I get where you are coming from. We live in the sticks and in some ways it's worse.........the noise becomes very distinct. Our house is set back from the road and you can hardly hear motorbikes and cars going passed....until you get the brain damaged idiots with their modified exhausts......truly pathetic. Having said that I agree with the other posters ...........it will never change

  16. Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA) Quoted in the post.
  17. I think he knew there would be a monumental backlash in the case of Gaetz......a classic case of OMG look over there.....and his other picks now, whilst many might still consider to be controversial, start to look almost normal (not RFK of course).
  18. That feature a certain King Donald Kash Patel’s children’s book The Plot Against the King features a character called “King Donald,” a fictionalized version of Donald Trump. The book is a satirical retelling of the Trump-Russia investigation, presented as a children’s fairytale. It portrays Trump as “King Donald” and Hillary Clinton as “Hillary Queenton,” who allegedly plots to undermine King Donald’s rule by fabricating a dossier accusing him of colluding with the fictional “Russionians” A must for all children's libraries I imagine in the US now......WT...?
  19. This is not being posted as a statement of fact by me.....I am posting this in order to gain some clarification regarding the UK state pension and whether or not the Secretary of State (or whoever) has the power to suspend said pension. From what I can see the State Pension is classed as a benefit and presumably comes under this Regulation 16. Prescribed circumstances – Regulation 16 2001 Benefit can be suspended in the following prescribed circumstances: where there is a doubt as to whether a person receiving JSA is available for or actively seeking employment where there is doubt whether the conditions for entitlement to benefit are (or were) fulfilled if a question arises over whether a decision to award benefit should be revised or superseded if an issue arises over whether any amount paid or payable in connection with a claim is recoverable if a customer is not residing at the last address notified to you where an appeal is pending against a decision of an FtT, UT or Court where an appeal is pending in a different case (the “lead case”) and the result of the appeal might affect the case you are considering (the “lookalike case”) 2002 If serious doubts arise you can suspend the award immediately, before notifying the customer, but the customer must be notified as soon as possible afterwards that benefit has been suspended https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/suspension-and-termination-of-benefits-staff-guide/suspension-and-termination-guide#circumstances-when-payment-can-be-suspended
