  1. To the title .... people that ask that question, should be deported & banned for life to enter TH again.
  2. You use 2gr (1 packet ) for 400ml cup of coffee? Would think the directions call for 120-150ml of water. I use 30-35gr of fresh ground coffee for 400ml of coffee. That's fine grind & seeps for 10 minutes, in French Press.
  3. Guess by now, you know whole wheat & low carb is a bit of an contradiction. Whatever you had in Holland (50%) was misrepresented as 'whole wheat', more like something else, w/whole wheat. Calling it whole wheat just raises the price. I'm in the 'wheat bread is fine for you' crowd, though personally don't make whole wheat that often. Along with no sugar in mine, so it's more on the complex carb side of things. Hua Hin Bread
  4. You're not far off, as I was going to agree with you, but then thought I'd check first, where the series is set. Quite surprised myself, though it is/was a HiSo neighborhood in Calif. Book set in NY. I grew up in a mixed neighborhood, sort of. Late 50s/60s, but it had a definitive border, and strange as it was. 1 side of street, white, other side, black. Us poor whites, lived on the 'other side of the tracks', which was only 1.5 block deep. Better off whites, then the RR (4 track lines), poor whites (1.5 blocks, <200meter) then all black beyond. Not until. 80's, many places the same, and this was NE, USA, not the south, where the divide was still obvious is some places (2000). I could tell you stories, but off topic enough already. On topic ... Yea, I have the same problem when watching series & movies, when woke is unrealistic. Can usually tolerate most of it, if not too silly and movie/acting is well done.
  5. And for the price of more than a few cars, you may even be able to get a 'Lucky 9' license plate. "On December 10, 2022, the auction of 9กก group plates of Bangkok took place, and the new record was set at 45,090,000 baht (about US$1,300,000) for "9กก 9999 กรุงเทพมหานคร"
  6. Siam Pharmacy is a chain, with many locations.
  7. I do torrents ... so not sure where to stream. But yes, S3 👍
  8. "Despite this disgraceful history, Los Angeles was also at the forefront of the struggle to end racial covenants—a story that connects to the historic neighborhood of West Adams Heights, commonly known for many decades as Sugar Hill. Non-Caucasians were restricted from owning or leasing property in West Adams Heights as far back as 1902. When the covenants began to expire in the 1930s, some, but not all, property owners signed agreements renewing the restriction on Non-Caucasians. In 1938, Blacks finally broke the color line in this neighborhood when businessman Norman O. Houston, one of the founders of Golden State Mutual Life Insurance, purchased a home in the area at 2211 S. Hobart Boulevard. Houston waited three years to move in, fearing a backlash from his white neighbors. Once he did move in, other members of the Black elite followed, including actresses Louise Beavers, Ethel Waters, and Hattie McDaniel. (Ms. McDaniel was the first African American to be awarded an Oscar when she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 1939’s Gone with the Wind.)" 9. Check that, as for single root, your molar will have 2 or even 3 roots, so 25k-35k would be more accurate, sorry about that, and @ Hua Hin. Last crown I had was 12k I think, but quite some time ago (Udon Thani).
  10. Very heavy rain last night, with light show, along with damn chilly at night. More of that El Niño, drought & hot weather 😂 GW/MMCC ... Lovin' It ... more please 😎
  11. Better wait till the 9th Nov ... hear that's a lucky #.
  12. Probably not enough tooth left to hold filling. Had same issue with a molar. 2 choices, yank it for ฿1k, or root canal & crown (~฿17k). Still have 28 other teeth and @ 68 yrs old, didn't really need .... yanked it. If not enough tooth for RC & Crown, then implant ... ฿40-50k & up depending where done.
  13. MedSafe fan myself. Have also used MedTide. Along with local pharmacy, and simply go with which ever is cheaper or more convenient (if at local pharmacy for same ish price). Medsafe on FB, and order through messenger. Just ask if they have & price. Quick responses & shipping. Bank transfer payment, very easy. If @ Krung Thep, they also have a brick & mortar shop. If not a FB fan, they have email & ph# contact, and prefer to correspond in English.: 080 057 5113 [email protected]
  14. Mind boggling the amount of ignorance that still exists, after all the info supplied and shared by those that have and use, solar & EVs. I would be funny, if it wasn't so sad.
  15. True purpose always shows up ... ... just another troll for the ignore list Have a Crappy Day
  16. It's definitely the inexperience, never owned part that we highly recommend not learning to drive a MB in Krung Thep. Not saying you couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't, but so many fail miserably when first riding a MB. You don't want to have an oops in traffic, especially fast moving. Even myself, first time, totally ignorant, and I hit a damn house .. at speed, Knocked my A$$ out, and thankfully the owner, made me wear a helmet, or I might not be here today. OK, you guys can stop clapping, wishful thinking is too late. A good, skilled, confident driver, should have no problem, especially a bit more mature than I was, in learning to drive a scooter here. But learn on the back sois, before putting yourself in an 'emergency situation' as bikes don't handle like cars. So many things to watch out for. Loose traction on 1 wheel, you're going down. Car, all four, and you're still protected. First week driving a MC, 750cc, I was constantly thinking about what I was doing, as never drove one before buying (except that one oops), and took it on a country road to teach myself. Lots of mistakes that day/week before reacting was 2nd nature. I crossed the 'center line' more than a few times on curves. Leaning with the bike, paying attention to everything on the road, wet/shiny spots (water or oil), sand, gravel, know when not to use front brake. Takes a while to master, so in an emergency, there's no thought involved, you just react. Why so many inexperience tourist, end up in hospital here, and many, just themselves losing control, and no other vehicles involved. IF hell bent on getting one, then take a peek at electric, if not needing to go far or top end fast. Quick of the line, and almost full automatic, just a selector button to allow more juice at higher speeds. DECO line of scooters, start at <30k baht. I have the SUSU model, and love it. If you like style:
  17. For me, that would be the time I wouldn't want to be on the roads, let alone a MB, though do see the advantage when gridlock. Be Safe
  18. Post reported for repetitive use of vulgar language 😎
  19. Because of, I don't even bother clearing any more. So probably miss a few, and don't reply, aside from ignoring most 🤣
  20. Phom jon mak mak ... 😭 ... besides, I can only drive 1 car at a time 😎
  21. Yes, even in USA, my #2 wife commented, besides the sex of course, that best thing knowing me, was we did something, went somewhere on our free time, whether a weekday or weekend. Plenty of time to sit on the porch , in the yard, but really need to get away from the house, weekly, and even overnight monthly, at least once. For me anyway, as I don't do stationary for long. As stated, living rural is a bit more challenging. Nice having the surf so close. Last month, no multi day overnights, but just getting away for the day or 1 overnighter:
  22. All things being equal, yes, Robusta beans are more bitter than Arabica. BUT, a lot depends on the roasting. The more roasting, darker, the less caffeine. Robusta vs Arabica
