I ditched all simple carbs including white bread about 3 months ago. Best decsion I ever made. I have lost close to 10kg and have much clearer mental acuity. I miss having avocados on toast, but now I just buy those tapioca based prawn chips and fry them up in cold pressed coconut oil to eat with caucomoli. Turns out it was not the toast I missed so much as the crunchy texture. Tapioca is still a carb but it is not a grain and also not properly classed as a simple carb.

I have been saying for nearly two decades that Phuket will get Thailand's first casino. I will go in the hotel on the mountain at the top end of Nai Harn beach. Easy to seal it off for security and lots of parking. They have to focus on gambling now that the natural environment is totally destroyed and the ocean water is toxic due to the faecal coliform counts. Government is broke and money for the trough has to come from somewhere. Taxes from gambling are needed to buy more swill.

Can anyone provide me with the link to the (actual) online driving test for Thailand. I have to renew my bike and car licences next month. I did an online search and found numerous sites. Not sure which one is the real deal. I have a five year licence. Some other questions if anyone wants to help me save some time also: 1. How early ( and late) after the expiry date can you renew? 2. When doing the online test, can you just redo the questions you got wrong until you pass? 3. What shelf life is on the online test (and you medical certificate) For example, could I do the test now and the QR code would still be valid next month. 4. What documents are now required for a 5 year renewal. 5. Do I just need one test QR code to renew both my bike and car licences. Thanks for you help.
