You are showing your ignorance with this comment. This is standard operational procedure and has been for a long time in tech and data focused companies. Prior notice of dismissal is never given. Guards just walk up behind a person at their desk and tell them to log out of their computer and hand over all keys, phones or other devices. Nothing pathetic about this behaviour. It is sound management practice so that the outgoing employee does not copy, steal, or delete important files. Things are probably different in the Thai dive charter industry....

Another (death) blow to Patong's embattled tourism industry

Yes I heard that from a mate in Phuket. Good new for thai commuting for work in Patong. But my mate also told me car traffic on the rest of the island is now a nightmare. -
This teen is not stupid. She has done the math and quickly figured out she is far better off as a concubine than as a child slave to her mother. Boon Khun (filial piety) was once a strong thread that held Thai families together especially in poorer areas. But the kids are now realising it is a bum deal and walking away. There is actually a whole movement named after this cultural shift. The "let it rot" movement is rapidly expanding in China and many other Asian countries. A Western version of this is the Great Resignation movement. Kids are realising now that they can work themselves to death but still not have any chance whatsoever of owning a house unless their parents are rich (and generous). Google Let it Rot.

Another (death) blow to Patong's embattled tourism industry

I have had dozens of bikes here...I have been here a very long time. High end big bikes included. I just got too frustrated with inept mechanics and the non availability of parts...even simple stuff like tyres and tubes...Especially as soon as you get off Phuket. I currenly have a suzuki but I would never buy another. Not because it has not been a good and reliable bike, but because it is impossible to get parts for. I have gone through 3 exhausts because they just rust out when my bike is parked next to the ocean every day...and sometimes all night as well. Aftermarket exhausts just don't exist for suzuki so you are trapped into buying factory which (as the bike has got old) are more then the bike is worth. I have had a new 125 wave on order for 3 months now. Paid a deposit at the local honda dealer. I will be running with hondas from here on in because if you go on shopee or lazada you can buy full aftermarket stainless exhaust and other parts for peanuts. The girl at the Honda dealer called me in to the shop last week. Honda is no longer making lasts years model. (I chose the gun metal grey version). So I had to repick what color I wanted from the new model range. The grey in the new model range is dreadful because it has baby blue trim and baby blue seat cover. So I just had to go for red. I figure that is safest color on the road anyway. -

I saw the photo of you new bike. Interesting design..Suzuki...cross between wave and a trail bike. Where did you get it and what was the cost. Would go alright in my village where we often go on the open beach to fish or launch our boats. -
Hope, as deceitful as she is, leads one on an agreeable path toward lifes end.

Dreadful investment. A leasehold is an amortizing asset. After thirty years (assuming that is the lease duration) you will have nothing. Don't touch it with a barge pole is my advice.

Why did you go to the hospital in the first place. You knew what drug you were after. Why not just check proper dosage on google and then go straight to the pharmacy and buy it.

So 3/4 of an drive hour to get to a location that is geographically located 15 kilometers from you. And on a day with good traffic flow. -

I don't think you get it. The ATO WANT you to remain a tax resident regardless of your location globally. However if they run the numbers and decide their is more money in it for them to declare you a non resident then that is the path they will pursue. -
Where can I go to find myself

A while back this same guy was telling us what losers we all were here in Thailand because he had moved back to Australia and snagged some dead end job working night shift as a security guard. Now he is all bent out of shape and asking us to help him. Sad really. -

Those verses are irrelevant. The OP will end up in Patts, coked up and trawling bars on Soi 6. The only verse that will help him is Genesis 3:13 KJV.
