If you are using extermination traps put a spoon of chocolate spread ( the go to bait in the UK ) on the trap but check and clean it and the ground it sat on with soapy water every time you catch one and reposition the trap around the car, never the same place twice in a week inside of wheel left front to right rear, right front to left rear every week of as soon as you catch one, and make sure your smell is not on anything. Here we go again! Yet another fully paid up member of the addled brain brigade who interprets a reply in the way he wants too and not in the intended way. I do not pay a girlfriend tax I take care of them by taking them to restaurants they cannot afford to go to, to eat lobster and crabs and other unaffordable ( for them),I buy special foods that are largely beyond them and other incidentals they need from time to time and which eases the burden upon the enforced low salaries they earn, Would you get up in the morning for 20,000 baht a MONTH and work hard all day 6 day per week,, no you would not, so the help I give them is genuine help which does not spoil them and therefore does not cause ripples in their earnings should anything happen to me and these treats stop. They do not know it but both of them will benefit from my will, but the hiatus between the time it takes to sort out said will and payout made could cause free fall if I were to pay them a large chunk every month and it suddenly stops so I do not do it. I have been coming to see them for years they are self employed in own business or a bank worker, none have ever been bar girls so do not have the mentality you talk about and have obviously been caught out by. Import and export duties on goods. There is no need for taxes levied upon the hard working public but the greedy hand of government grabs taxes and import duties and then some brain dead no it all wastes it on pointless white elephant exercises and petty projects. just think about it you work for a salary that is heavily taxed before you get it, then you take the pittance you have left to pay for utilities which are taxed again then you buy food and water taxed again shoes and clothes taxed again plus vat and so it goes on until you have paid an additional 40 to 50% or more of that same salary in taxes, yet with prudence and proper planning import duties would cover government expenditure, so much is imported in to countries around the world, billions of Baht, G B pounds, Dollars etc, etc but no politician has the balls or brains to take enough action to ease the burden upon the hard pressed work force. Why should 2% of the world hold 95% of the wealth which they get from paying minimal amounts of tax when the rest of us pay the maximum. These are my own sentiments and I should be allowed to keep them, and although some will disagree with them answer this >> having paid your taxes is your life any better for it, I think not because your life would be much better if you kept the money you earn to spend on the things you want contributing to import duties and not direct tax. Does the taxes you pay benefit politicians, yes of course it does they can use the same tax tricks as the hi sos

Ok so may I ask how much you spend on your favourite pastimes whilst you are here? I come here 4 times each year spend up to £1000 per flight and during each stay ranging from 4 to 6weeks I spend on average for food travel inland and hotels around 100,000 baht plus another 50,000 for the needs of girlfriends all of which goes back into the Thai economy, ( Thais don’t save ) so surely this is enough without the greedy rip off brigade squeezing more out of me. There are others out there with an even higher spend rate than me who feel the principle of organised theft is disgraceful. It is not the sum it is the principal behind it of endless rip off.

You are absolutely 100% correct, I have had my FFC for 20 years yet despite frequent flights both internationally and domestic I am still at silver, I visited the head office in Bangkok to discuss this with them and got blanked and a tough s - - t attitude. Proven LOYALTY to them even during bankrupcy still did not move them and as for some semblance of the promised PRIORITY it to is also non existent, so I have given up with this bunch of num nuts and taken my business elsewhere, if they have their noses so far up themselves they deserve everything they get including a lasting bankrupcy this time to be replaced by a team with at least some business acumen.

Presumably you find Bangkok air fulfilling, it certainly appears to be sustainable

yes 100% agree and even more praise should be given to those brave people who give permission for organ harvesting of lost love one’s especially that out of 70+ million Thais and hundreds who die on the roads every year this was only the 20th donation from Loei and only 141 for the whole country. The 20 people from Loei should be lauded for their bravery in this respect. There are 7,000 + people in Thailand suffering kidney failure and require transplants and cannot work yet if the government and medical profession came together over transplant surgery and reduced the cost most of these sufferers could very quickly be returned to the overall workforce and of benefit to the economy and community. One can only hope that daylight will dawn in the not too distant future and offerings of organs and subsequent transplants will increase in every aspect 🤞🤞
