I have exactly what you have suggested BUT I could not get it to work in the six weeks that I have just spent all over Thailand, I found that mostly I was unable to connect to the internet or if I did then everything just hung, my assumption being that the hotel internet system was not up to it as most of them appear to be still running on 3G, Any suggestions on this would be appreciated for my next visit. Hi, all of the answers so far have assumed that you will be handling the goods first hand from start to delivery, surely you will be presenting your own website that encompasses as many of the items for sale by manufacturers world wide that you wish to be associated to and therefore your site will do nothing more than introduce the buyer to the seller and any sales through that introduction will generate income for you paid through the company you are allied to IE Amazon etc that way you have no stock, no handling or delivery fees and any income is paid to an off shore account monthly. Why would anyone other than a manufacturer want a warehouse full of paid for stock waiting for possible buyers when the manufacturer has already covered that aspect and can undercut you in an instant.. if your website is properly set up and your word association is top line and at the top of Google, etc search engines they will open your website in the first 5 pages and your potential customer will see it and open it and proceed from there to view, order and pay, and all you need to do is check everyday that your site is still in the first 5 pages. Each search engine will have your site registered to it and each will be allied to the companies you use again IE Amazon, Etzy, Ebay etc, etc and all of them will be associated with English speaking Countries around the world. Sounds complicated? Yes it is but once you have set it up it becomes ever more easier. Now for the negative nay sayers who say it can’t be done, How do you think the big names do it.

No if you read my reply correctly you will see that I am referring to fully comprehensive insurance policies and the need to obtain such, which can only be done IF the person is a fully qualified rider, no licence means no insurance. Any idiot can lie his or her way into a system but if one has an accident fault or no fault and that person does not have the correct qualifications the insurance companies will deny cover.

Point taken and full marks to you but again the insurance only covers the damage to the other vehicle, and unless you or the company have specified it in the policy it is unlikely to cover her bikes or the driver who rents from her ( your wife), this being one of the many reasons why the girl’s health policy ( if she had one ) was dropped by her insurance company. You are to be commended for taking out insurance but it would be appalling if your customers were told they were fully insured but we’re not, so may I suggest that you check your policy for any discrepancy. Others in here have quite rightly pointed out that no licence means health insurance is 100% null and void. You have been honest up to now so please inform us of your findings regarding exactly what is and is not covered under your policy, it is very important that we all have a concrete idea of what is going on in the industry and what is available to renters of which we all are at sometime.

I don’t give a boooo sheet what you think sunshine the comments came from my own experience in checking with several insurance companies in the U.K. wherein I simply recounted the info given to me several years ago when I wanted to do a circular bike route around Thailand, which meant that I would have to take out Insurance with a Thai company, but how many of these infallible youngsters even think about doing that. Given your own high level of knowledge in such matters you obviously know that not only are bike rentals uninsured but up until 3 years ago ( the last time I checked ) these bikes were not insurable by the renter. If that has changed please enlighten us The only way round it is to buy your own bike but again if one does not have a qualified licence from one’s own country or a Thai licence any health insurance purchased in Thailand could easily meet the same fate Perhaps if the truth were known the very reason why her insurance company has backed off is because of one or more of the reasons mentioned. One thing we all have here is time on our hands so please be my guest and send pertinent questions to as many insurance companies as you wish but please make sure they are pertinent questions and not those fogged out by your own misconceptions. This has little or nothing to do with the insurance company dragging its heels. First of all I am quite surprised the she even had insurance because if she had read the small print she would have noticed that there is a paragraph stating that the insurance is null and void when riding a motorbike that does not belong to the rider even as a passenger. The said motorbike must be owned and imported from the home country for the duration of stay. Her situation is further reduced by the simple fact that if she has no licence or just a provisional “ L “ driver licence she is not qualified to drive. The sad fact is that if the know it all millennials would realise that they don’t know it all and would stop and listen to those they refer to as prehistoric they would maybe learn a few things, one of which is read the small print on any contract before you sign or accept it. But if a card that is being used at any point is scimmed and the details put on another card for use by the crook there is no actual card theft and the owner of the original card has no idea his / her card details are being used until the bill arrives, that is the only time the card gets stopped but it is too late then,the only actual saving grace is the spend amount agreed by the bank but there are ways around this for the practiced criminal. one can only hope that these scumbags get caught quickly and severely dealt with in the country the crime took place and again after deportation to there own country, make them serve two long sentences that should slow them down

You are welcome to the suggestion however I do most of what you mention including my Amazon account but with the exception of certain social media who have a vested interest in looking up your proverbial rectum, I have never had any problems in the area you mention possibly because I refuse point blank to have certain social media apps anywhere near my iPad and I leave location services turned off. Even Google does not know where I am as it sends me ads from an location more than 350 miles from my actual location and all thanks to my VPN. But at the end of the day it is horses for courses, most of what I look for and at are legal anyway so maybe that is why I get to the finishing line and others get found out. No existing motorbike licence from own country = no insurance. Hire a motorbike = no insurance. Ride a bike have an accident = Health insurance from own country assuming he bought some CANCELLED Take a test here pass it, get a licence for 2 years, look for insurance will have to buy Thai and include health insurance OUCH ! Good luck to him, hope we don’t hear he is looking for a go fund me later because he thought he was invincible like many of the clowns who come here.

Hang on a minute, there are some very important issues for which I use my iPhone and to facilitate this should I have a mishap with it I bring a backup iPhone, I also bring a Samsung which I use exclusively in the U.K. doing so the moment I arrive back there. The second iPhone is not loaded but ready to be so with all of my backed up info stored in iCloud and both additional phones are switched off during my sojourn here.
