Is organic farming the solution to Thai school lunch crisis?
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Utter rubbish. I grow all of my vegetables 100% organically and the only spray I use is water, organic soft soap, and easily available organic Neem oil which in itself is edible and has many uses, the mixing of all three items is easier than mixing the poison that chemical companies have brainwashed the farmers into using. The water content is warm enough without further heating up to dissolve the oil and soft soap and spraying it is very easy. The Neem oil is a product of the Neem tree which is grown in India and I believe Thailand, so in Thailand it is not as expensive as chemicals.- 28 replies

Hit and run got me, I'm all broken!
Jimjim1 replied to BritManToo's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
If they don’t then perhaps Britman too might consider putting it on Facebook that he will be happy to negotiate settlement for the cost of repair to the car, and with some of these Thais being as stupid as they are he / she might just come forward to collect. A non comital correctly worded STING to draw him / her out will be enough for BM too”s insurance company to deal with it further, and hope against hope the police may get off their fat a—-ses also Good luck BM too and get well soon -
Clean your glasses sunshine and take a look around you. I have just returned from Thailand and to be honest I have never seen so many fat Thai women and girls and it is getting worse, long gone are the days of never seeing a fat Thai, now they are wobbling around everywhere.

Why are video games so often blamed for mass shootings?
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Because these games remove the individual from reality the player goes through the various stages of the what we understand is a game but to the player it is levels of violence and slaughter that the player is unable to understand that death is real because he/she is to wrapped up in the game, and when said game is closed down and restarted the next time all those people in the game who were killed are now back and running around again. Removing the reality that death is real, so that in a given situation the player believes in his / her mind that he/she can go and shoot someone or kill them in some other way believing that the victim will simply stand up again. -
Altercation with Ladyboys at Pattaya Beach Shocks Foreign Tourists
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I don’t mean to be offensive and I know where you are coming from having been in your position with a much higher body weight problem due to a medical condition but please read your own words and ask yourself why you order so much food when by your own admission you don’t need it. your words. I don’t eat the salads because it will satiate my hunger. Bingo weight problem solved. -
Altercation with Ladyboys at Pattaya Beach Shocks Foreign Tourists
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Total rubbish, in this country they are taught from the age of 2 to be eventual ladyboys usually by the grandmother aided and abetted by the mother reasoning the IT will earn big money for the family by selling it self. These children are not given a chance to be anything other because they get brainwashed from every angle, my Gf is a case in point her 2 year old has just started his training ( damb it he is not out of nappies yet but he is running around in frilly underwear and a freaking dress) whilst her first born was obviously far to masculine from an earlier age to be subjected to the same treatment luckily for him. I have tried to talk her out of this travesty but the pat answer is SHE will be very beautiful so I have given up and hope that the child will find happiness such as it may be. -
Thailand needs to calm down it's rush to EV !
Jimjim1 replied to TorquayFan's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Funny thing is this was stated when the first petrol engine was produced over a hundred years ago with only one difference ( the word anymore ) The worst polluters of the world are industrialists yet no one is complaining or pointing the finger at them, yes cars do pollute and no one refutes it but beef producers pollute more than cars as cattle fart methane gas in a constant stream, shipping produces about 25% + of all unregulated pollutants, industrialists with there manufacturing processes contribute around 50%, not to mention PEOPLE, but it is much easier to attack the easy target than getting to the Cruz of the matter. And before anyone gets on there high horse at me, yes I do have a car used mainly to move my disabled wife to where she needs to go and year on year I average 3 to 5,000 miles. -
If someone is clever enough to put up a throw away web site pointing out that when a Thai kills another Thai the Falang tourist will pay all the costs including compensation to the families of people we have not and never will meet. Methinks that will send tourists in another direction. Obviously I am angered by this proposed unnecessary imposition on people who have saved hard to come to Thailand for a holiday only to be ripped off before even getting into the country. I have no doubt that the government in it’s ignorance will enact this proposal.

Express VPN is based in South America, does not keep any records of it users and puts two fingers up to the feds. It also has full coverage servers in around 75 countries and rising, and essentially a knock out switch which ensures your security if you get kicked out. Streaming is a breeze and UK companies including the BBC have not noticed me nor has Amazon Prime. Problem solving is by email or real time chat in English 24/7 including any setup difficulties. 99 US per year and for me worth every cent. If you use a recommendation when you buy both of you will get 3 months usage free and you also get a free trial period.

Let’s make Thailand the Global place to retire in. and when we con you into coming here we will tax the chuck out of you from the the previously tax paid income you have to bring in to live here…….. Obviously someone has been reading history and decided on a Dick Turpin policy, it can’t possibly be a Robbin Hood policy as he was reputed to give back to the poor and that will never do here.

Which is all very well BUT what about those of us who are responsible and purchase expensive travel insurance and would in no way ever be a burden to the host country? I personally have a £10,000,000 every incident health cover including Covid and if I have to pay this obvious rip off it could negate that policy leaving me with a sub standard Thai policy and a Thai government looking for every way to bail out of it. I am beginning to think that a CambLoasVietPhil option could be very real. So much for resurrecting Thai tourism, the rigmarole involved in just paying this charge never mind trying to claim on it if needed be will be enormous. It would be simpler for IO’s to check on entry if the traveller has his / her own insurance and charging those that don’t in a separate airport area, otherwise it will take even longer to get through immigration and on to our destinations.

Why ever would I do such a thing? you were the one who stated categorically that few women use them and when challenged you stated that you only new of two. So from that dizzying height you profess yourself to be an expert, whereas it is a retail FACT that the majority of sex toy purchases in the western world are made by women. Perhaps it is time for you to get out into the real world and start making comments from a factual point of view instead of your current very jaded one. It may also be time to stop using this forum as your own personal click bait exercise to enhance your post count, as most of the rubbish you reply with is making you look very foolish

British man recounts shocking encounter with racist Russians in Phuket
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
He was there first and then his choice was replaced in favour of the Russians so exactly who is forcing there ways on whom? Methinks it was the Russians who in all fairness should have been made the wait. -
Yes I would look for him every time I came in here, he was so inspirational and never wrong. I never did not get to buy him the coffee I promised him after he helped me with some info and I will always regret that. I was out of the system for about a year and only recently came back so missed the posts about him but many thanks for the update Jack as saddening as it was. I think his like will be very hard to replace but I have to say you are doing a pretty good job yourself so more power to your elbow if you are happy to take up the mantle. Best wishes.
