  1. In case anybody else is interested in this: The going rate for setting up a limited company is round about 10k baht including government fees. in case the registered capital is only 100k baht. (I've seen offers as low as 5k though, but I guess this doesn't include the government fees etc. then) There is a government fee in the amount of 0.55% of the registered capital, so in case of 2 million baht (required for a work permit) instead of the 100k minimum, this adds 10450 baht. The company that I'm using now says they charge 3k per month for basic accounting stuff, submitting monthly tax reports etc, if it aren't took many bookings. If you contact one of the companies focusing on foreigners, they charge about 30-100k baht on top of this.
  2. Every bigger town will have a shop with such a machine. It is by the way possible to get the rubber off with tire irons, the same way they do it with tires on a Honda Wave, but it's a pain in the ass, and they might be afraid to damage the rim, but if there is really no other option it's possible. The bigger problem might be to find a place which has a tire for you in stock, but I guess for a Forza it should also not be too big of a problem. But if you have a flat tire on a road trip, in most cases a tire plug will do the job and get you home.
  3. Because they don't have the machine to get the rubber off/on the rim, because usually people don't go to Honda dealers to change tires, this is why even the Honda dealer in the next town who might have such a machine had to order the tire for you. Usually there are shops that specialize in changing tires, they have the machine as well as tires in stock.
  4. TM28 form is still used, but certain groups of people are now exempt from it. There was no change to the TM27 form or the use of it, but the TM27 form has never been used by immigration, so it just exists theoretically.
  5. There is no limit, this rule written on the embassy website was abolished many years ago.
  6. Emergency treatment is free for any Thai at any Thai hospital non-emergency treatment is free (30 baht…) at their registered hospital. Your wife just has to register at your local hospital, rental contract is sufficient as evidence I’m relatively certain that nearly all Thais know that it’s free, but they hope that their foreign partner (ATM?) will believe them and they get money from them.
  7. Afaik the CRF300L is only available in the low version in Thailand, with shortened suspension.
  8. As pointed out by others, ask the management which providers (AIS, True, 3BB...) are available (may be just one), then contact the provider and ask what they offer (some condos have only phone lines, then you can only get 50mbps vdsl, if your condo has fiber you have all the options, the provider will know what's possible)
  9. You can either live with it, or just buy another plot of land. Buying it in the hope that you can change it will just cause headaches.
  10. I'm looking for an accounting/law firm that will handle setting up the company, do accounting etc.
  11. Going to set up a new limited company. Majority shareholder will be Thai. One foreigner in the company, requiring work permit. I'm looking for a company which will handle setting up the company, getting the work permit, and will do accounting (it's a real company, actively working). Do you have any recommendations for me? I'm also interested in the costs, so about how much did or do you pay for those things (registering company, work permit, accounting)? It's not important if they can speak English, the most important factor is if they do the job properly.
  12. Every 12k, who told you 5k?
  13. According to the article he only had two guns, one registered, the other not. The others were toys.
  14. One original, one copy of each is sufficient
  15. A while ago here was a thread about testosterone, with a question about Testosterone from Rotexmedica being out of stock in Thailand. Back then (maybe 2 months ago already?) I called the distributor, and they told me in 1-2 months it should be available again (which would have been last month or so), which I posted in that thread. My stock is running low now, so I called them again, and I did again get the info "in 1-2 months". So it sounds like they have no idea when it's actually arriving, but at some point they will probably have it again.
