  1. Most provinces don’t have red plates for motorcycles
  2. Exists since a few years already, doesn't it? Amazon has physical stores which afaik work like this.
  3. He is using the internet from his phone. I just signed up for the Ivacy 5 year plan for 60 Dollars, My results for speedtest.net No VPN: 700/700 (actually I have a 600/600 TOT Line) Ivacy Singapore: 680/500 Ivacy US: 300/80 Ivacy Germany: 320/70
  4. I don't think there is any company that solders USB directly to a HDD, the HDD is always SATA. But if you look for sata hdd case on Shopee or Lazada you find many cases that allow you to put a SSD HDD inside, just pay attention if it's 2.5" or 3.5".
  5. Looks nearly like the Chiang Mai immigration office
  6. It might of course vary, as always in Thailand, but in my experience (not Hua Hin) one original + one copy is ok.
  7. It's a Thai government requirement, but immigration usually doesn't enforce it, the airlines often do though. Somehow I doubt that they actually updated the ministerial order requiring a flight out within 30 days to be 45 days instead, so according to the written rules it's probably still required to have a flight out within 30 days, but maybe they apply some common sense...
  8. No they don’t, they can only deny for the reasons specified in the immigration act.
  9. You don't need to submit a TM28, only a TM30.
  10. He explained it in the OP, you just need to read it.
  11. You will get an extension until the expiry date of your passport, so only about 10 months instead of a year, other than that no problem
  12. Take the police report and the bike to the DLT.
  13. Afaik the amount you can transfer in a banking app is limited to 2 million baht per day. If you are selling the condo for less than that, the easiest way is to just have them transfer you the money using their phone, you can check on your phone that it has arrived in your bank account (arrives nearly instantly). If it's more than 2 million baht they have to get a cashier's cheque or cash.
  14. Grab charges 25% commission, Bolt doesn't, so usually Bolt is about this much cheaper. In Chiang Mai most taxis have changed from Bolt to inDrive, so just load this app.
  15. You can just change the date on your departure card.
  16. It depends on your region setting, instead of using this url (gl=us means it's setting your region to US), you can also just change your region settings here: https://www.google.com/preferences If the region is set to "Current region" (and you are in Thailand...) it will display the date as BE The problem with changing the region setting (or using the link as you wrote, same outcome), is that it will also change the search result. If you use these settings and search for example "lazada" then the first search result won't be Lazada Thailand.
  17. Nothing is stopping you from doing multiple transfers. Of course a bit annoying having to do 20 transfers, but other than wasting 10 minutes of your time it's doable.
  18. I did just fly yesterday, I would say about half of the people in the airport and on the plane wore a mask, the other half didn’t. There is no longer a requirement to wear a mask, and I even saw staff at the airport without masks.
  19. Most of them are stolen
  20. Nonsense. Superrich at the airport gives you a better exchange rate than any bank.
  21. A system like in western countries, where you need a prescription from a doctor to purchase drugs in a 3rd party pharmacy, doesn’t exist in Thailand. If a pharmacy has a certain drug they will sell it to you, no prescription required. There are certain controlled drugs, but regular pharmacies don’t have them, for these drugs you would have to see a doctor in a hospital and you would then get them from the hospital's pharmacy.
  22. No need to sign up for it, as a Thai citizen she automatically qualifies for it.
  23. I'm looking for a corporate bank account that supports QR payments (I want to pay by scanning a QR code, as is supported by any bank for private persons) I know already that Kasikorn doesn't support it, do any of the other banks, if so which one?
