Of course not! What happened to the other guy is karma, nothing to do with driving. I'm driving again, first time since 2005. No accidents in nearly two years. Thought it was my careful driving and attention to my environment, but no........A year after buying a used pickup, opened the ash tray to find it stuffed with amulets. I felt so stupid, realizing I'd been driving the speed limit and stopping at red lights for no reason!

That's a tax on hazardous substances, collected to fund your local poison control center.

The techs doing the annual inspections would not necessarily have any knowledge of the illegal modifications. If the paperwork says "6-cylinder NGV", they'll inspect the six cylinders all colocated in the proper designated location, along with the lines and couplings in the engine compartment. It's not likely they'd be tracing the gas line throughout the entire chassis. An unauthorized modification, with additional lines spliced in, leading to five other tanks in concealed locations, would not be noticed. Unless there was a leak at the time of inspection, the bus would pass. In that case, the owner would simply take the bus for repair by his own mechanics and return to redo the inspection. I suspect the owner would have his own mech do a simple leak test on the system before taking it in for inspection. It works until it doesn't.

But why would that surprise you? You think publishing new forms........in English.......is a priority?

Take some time to review the British and French DTA's as to how your particular flavor of pensions are treated. I assume you can use both DTA's to your benefit, but would need to confirm. Calculate how much of each type of income you've remitted this year. Out of that, how much was earned this year...........as in how much assessable income. Pre-2024 income is still tax-free. Then read up on the Thai allowances and deductions. You should have well over 500K before any tax due.

From what I read yesterday, the insurance carrier was notified of the CNG modification. Otherwise claims could be denied costing the transport owner money. The DLT was NOT informed of the change, so there may not have been annual inspections. Inspections cost money, probably several thousand for a commercial vehicle. There apparently were two modifications, installing tanks in more than one location. Six tanks first, then another five when they realized the bus had a too-limited range. Even if inspected, the workers might not be told about the secret tanks. Splicing in more tanks, adding more lines, possibly no inspections = leaks.

Did you notice that the link you posted above is active? It leads to fm.info6.citi.com and a fake citi webpage saying Hello Jay from a yahoo email account. What was the return email address from the email you received? -

Because YOU are a random yahoo calling in to "check" info on an alleged fake account. The rep can take the info and send it to the proper office, but isn't going to access the files for YOU in realtime. You might be a scammer that got a'hold of some illicit cc info, but need one or two more bits to run your scam. -

I believe you CAN transfer a partial or entire stock portfolio between brokers. Set up an account at new broker, fill out a transfer form to do an ACATS for a direct transfer. Similar to a bank transfer using ACH. Same-same but different. -

Of course she did! You're just a random yahoo calling an 800-number call center demanding info on accounts. You bet they're gonna make you prove your identity before they give you account information. -

Makes sense a ghost would order deceased chicken from a dead franchise. -

But Vinnie, that's not depreciation affecting the price of the car. It's a price reduction due to lowered cost of EV batteries. That means your car will be worth even more since now it will be affordable to buy a new battery in 8-10 years and double the life of your car. Now that's winning! -
Dude, that's not the Thai Embassy! It's Siam Legal. But that's OK. Get your tax advice from a clickbait law firm that uses deception to draw customers. What could go worng!

Just that not everyone limits themself to the party-approved narrative. There is more information out there than what you get from a small number of favored "infotainment" websites. Some folks actually remember living through these events, so today's approved talking points can become irritating. I miss the parties at the Soviet embassy myself.

Four Charges Filed Against Driver in Bus Fire That Killed 23
NoDisplayName replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
According to a post by anchadian it wasn't properly registered as a modified NGV vehicle, so likely this bus.....and many others..........would not be inspected. Question is did the NGV system ever undergo the required annual inspection? That costs money. 500 baht for a passenger vehicle, assume a commercial transport would be more expensive. -
So it's true, then. There is only one Bangkok airport.

No, they bolt to prepare for the upcoming test. Run home to mom's basement and continue drinking, claim he only started once he got home 'cause he was in shock. -
Don't forget one of the goals of the regime change was to have the Soviets evicted from Sevastopol, and have the naval base repurposed for NATO control of the Black Sea.

Is it? Gosh, I 'member standing in a crowd in East Berlin as Gorbachev arrived, and one brave eastern "jelly donut" yelled out "Gorby, hilf uns!" Amazingly, he was not arrested by the Stasi inserted throughout the crowd. Also 'member walking out of Clay Headquarters and getting the news that the Soviets had agreed to German reunification and removing their troops, while Nato had agreed to "not one inch to the East." Not long after that I drove up to Rostock to watch the Soviet tanks being prepped for loading onto boats. They kept their promises.

It's a 2024 model. It has 5,xxx km on it. It has depreciated about 50%! Meaning YOUR link to a 2022 anecdote that is older than the 2024 anecdote depreciating about 50% is much worser as a comparison. It actually "proves" that ICE vehicles depreciate TWICE as fast as EV's.
