Chris.B replied to Stevey's topic in Family and Children
You need to know his exact date of birth in order to determine if he was receiving the old state pension or the new state pension. Was it before 6 April 2016 or after? -

Yes health insurance is a scam in Thailand

Your insurance costs the equivalent of 2000 THB a week, approximately. I would think most guys here would pay that if they were eligible to. -
Your description indicates Laparoscopy but the costs you quote indicate Open Surgery?

As Thailand reopens, signs of economic recovery are visible
Chris.B replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Thailand News
"Revenue generated from tourism accounted for as much as 20 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in the pre-pandemic period." https://www.thaipbsworld.com/as-thailand-reopens-signs-of-economic-recovery-are-visible/ So that's recovery for 20% of the economy but what about the other 80%? What drivel they come out with. -
Which is probably for open surgery?

I just noticed you can get Robotically-Assisted Umbilical Hernia Repair for 380,000 THB. ???? https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/packages/robotic-assisted-umbilical-hernia-repair

Looks like you had open surgery which is cheaper. Laparoscopic surgery is 'key-hole' and is minimally invasive but costs more.

I checked out some personal accident policies and noticed disabled people weren't covered. A tad discriminatory I thought. ☹️ -

It's seems that is no longer the case.... Can I call anyone using Duo? According to Android Police, Duo users can now call people who don't have the app installed and who haven't registered with the service. ... This is all thanks to the App Preview Messaging feature, which allows Android users to use supported messaging apps to contact people who don't have said app installed.Jan 12, 2561 BE https://www.engadget.com/2018-01-12-google-duo-call-android-users-without-app.html
