Hit or miss imo. I drive about 3-4000kms a month here all over thailand and there seems to be little logic to traffic congestion ( except downtown bkk ).

I guess it varies... Over the last 25 years i have found BKK bank to be by far the easiest to deal with, infact i've given up with some of the other ones.

Renew home country driving license if you can? Most european countries this can be done online.
