4 strains of Dengue? Is that correct? I know there are 4 varieties of Malaria that make up Dengue. From what I have read Dengue is dangerous because of its make up. What works for one type of Malaria doesnt necessarily work for the other types. -

I used to go to the cinema but haven't for several years. You get people talking and crunching crisps whilst the movie is running. It is impolite and very annoying so I just don't bother now -
What about charging times, battery replacement costs and second hand value? These surely must be a downside to having one

I am neither a lover or hater of EV's but tell me what the big advantage of them is because I cant find anything to justify the price.

Why did they think Germany would sell them their latest engine? If anyone here has had dealings with the Defence industry they know no country will sell its latest technology or even a lot of its old technology to other countries. The assumptions show a lack of understanding as to how things work.

The accidents have more than likely been due to poor or no maintenance not because of the age.

Asking what exactly? Basic problem a system is getting old yes they all do. That doesnt mean they cant be maintained to a long extended life. Everybody seems to believe if it is an old installation you have to start again. We are in this thread talking about travellators and the like not a steam engine for an aircraft. evidently not many people here have been involved with maintenance and cost analysis associated.

So what? Do you think it is easier and cheaper to install a new one or to actually provide maintenance for the existing one? Stairs like many other things can actually be repaired and if maintained will last for just about ever.

Yes I did and proper maintenance would ensure the useful life. The operative word being proper

Why replace them? Maybe having good quality maintenance would be a better and more sustainable approach. Always the way in Thailand if there is a problem with something replace them never think about providing proper maintenance and saving money.

James Randi was found to be somewhat less than truthful. Issues like this are similar to the question does life exist elsewhere in the universe? More than likely it does but you cant dismiss it because you have not seen it.

They are now starting to think the Big Bang was not the start of the universe. After all if matter can not be created or destroyed, Einstein, then there had to be something before the Big Bang. It is now being considered there must be a multiverse.

Maybe and maybe not. To make an assumption you have to believe you have accurate knowledge on which to base your idea. Unfortunately the people of this world are pretty much idiots so talking and making assumptions about such things is probably way outside of out mental capability to consider.
