  1. If she doesn't have one, it doesn't matter. They won't even ask. Put it this way, my Mrs has a passport but I didn't provide a copy last February, just a copy of her ID card, the Tibian Bahn (blue book), both countersigned and an ORIGINAL of the marriage certificate.
  2. I don't know. I was quite flattered when #33 had a pop at #12 when the latter sat on my lap one evening upstairs at Mandarin.
  3. Correct, thanks @Sheryl, and to add that pay attention to what is in your medical history as recorded by the health care provider. When I signed up for a new health insurance policy just after Covid, I ticked the 'No' box against the personal history of hypertension question; it had never been an issue in my life. However, on reviewing my very limited Thai health care provider data that I agreed to release following a claim, they found a one-off instance of evidence of Stage 1 hypertension recorded during an offshore industry medical from about six years previous. That was enough for them to add a weighting (increase) to my 1-year premium, already paid. My medical claim was not related to hypertension in any way.
  4. To devalue the power, authority and credibility of the NACC before the EC passes the parcel on MFP/Pita eligibility to them to decide? I was reading that the third document that the NACC are withholding from public scrutiny involves the personal (legal?) opinions of those making the earlier judgment to no-bill the caretaker DPM on the watch issue.
  5. My late father-in-law, riddled with cancer on his deathbed, had no option but to personally attend the local land office to sign the papers enabling a transfer of property ownership to his siblings. Of course, he was just a lowly Isaan construction journeyman who's only link to Bangkok was building condominiums there.
  6. Like what for instance? Personally, for cultural understanding and social cohesion, I think Love Island has far, far more to offer the world.

  9. In my experience, the anticipated chapel is found to be a cathederal. That really depends on how big your congregation is.
  10. A lot can depend on their running hours and the quality of the water. Your second heater had a valve that was hard to turn suggests that you may have hard water which means the heating element could also be well 'caked' and that's causing the boiling noises and/or drawing extra current causing the trips? I don't recommend Mex but have had good experience with Ariston multi-point and more recently Midea single-point shower units. Good luck with your new purchases.
  11. Both heaters are 8 or 9 years old and both have a safety problem. Two new, safe ones would be 10-12k baht but maybe you are planning on dying soon anyway.
  12. Exactly. Unless Japanese female physiology has changed recently, their secret garden is still behind the vestibule.
  13. What? You mean he should have inserted his toe first and not his finger?
  14. I reckon the tuk-tuk driver should sue the Aussie bloke for defamation. Anyway, he better not come up to Isaan where a lot of locals prefer to say they're Lao rather than from the multi-syllabic Maha Sarakham or Ubon Ratchathani.
  15. That "stop valve" has an integrated sediment filter that should be periodically checked and cleaned. Either way, with the earlier tripping of the unit and sounds of overheating, I would recommend a complete replacement.
  16. The linked report is from The Thaiger and there's no mention of the Bangkok Post in either article. Hope this helps.
  17. I haven't seen a mall anywhere where the owners or operators of the parking facilities do not have a stated and placarded policy that they are NOT responsible for any stuff left in a car or damage to the car by other drivers.
  18. Dammit! How am I gonna get a fix for my pig's canine tooth addiction now?
  19. What perspective? Are you trying to downgrade the seriousness of dengue, an epidemic that has grown year-on-year or upgrade the seriousness of Covid, a pandemic that's in remission?
  20. Good call. The Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast is part of the above mentioned hospital which is a university teaching hospital. https://heart.kku.ac.th/
  21. If the OP's friend already knows he has 70% blockages, then he must have already been given this medical assessment and given a quote for the angioplasty? Was this as a private hospital? Unless he gets this diagnosis in writing, typically this would still need to be reassessed at whatever, cheaper place he finds. Government hospitals are a safe bet for a lower-cost alternative with the same doctors as pointed out by @KhunLA. I have also heard good things about the Queen Sirikit navy hospital down Sattahip way.
  22. Definitely something flammable judging by the yellow flash underneath in this screen grab from what I assume is the cctv.
  23. He'll be at his mum's place, easy.
