  1. Get a multiple entry tourist visa and renew as many times as possible, or an elite visa. Try to switch to an education visa while you're here if you can.
  2. the beach is also dirty
  3. It's not clean. i have not been in the water ever down there and i love the sea and swimming.
  4. Its not clean. i went down there and did not want to lie on the sand or touch the water.
  5. why should you be there full time if you're not meditating full time?
  6. if they go beyond the armrest you can complain to cabin staff. same for the leg & foot area. they are not allowed to lean into your area for any reason. if cabin crew does not respond take a video and charge back with your card. submit the video during the dispute process.
  7. yes, if you dont give early inheritances as many people do.
  8. Are you going to have enough assets over for it to matter? One thing most people fail to calculate is the increased expenses as you get older. you can start with retirement home costs and medical. One big red flag is people bringing up topics about what to do with assets and property when they pass. under the surface in my experience what that typically means is not disposition arrangements, but anxiety about running out of money.
  9. whats your opinion on the cause of the repulsive behavior? is it a product of overcrowding, or poverty, or competitive culture? i saw a chinese guy in a very busy eatery recently. he intentionally left a dirty napkin by the serving plates in an obvious location and also asked a bunch of stupid questions of the main cook as he exited. he did it to give them a hard time and too waste time. theres no way thats cultural.
  10. it is now
  11. But, but, but you said… Nevermind ????
  12. Most of the farang deaths site was just a rehash of articles in the news. They just put all the stories together and specialized in that one topic. That site has been down for years. You could call your site the “Pattaya flying club” or just the “flying club”.
  13. Maps and Google street view don’t lie ???? I can see everything. If you bought a place there to let out you will find a high turnover and short term lets, because people don’t fall for bs these days. The era of the sales pitch is over for everyone but the most rushed. If you’re trapped in there now trying to make the best of the situation you have only yourself to blame.
  14. It’s because it’s “easy”. Many other foreigners and lots of English, so there is a “comfort zone” there that is not present in other areas, even Bangkok. Less challenging would be another word for it.
  15. Not sure what country you are from, but projects like that can be invested in your home country probably much safer. Where you reside makes little difference. Why are you doing it in Thailand? Is it people who approach you here or you meet here?
  16. Walk it then. It’s up to you. Just look at the map and street view before committing to live there. You ok with that? Also, tell your clients or tenants to do it before committing. You sound like a landlord or real estate agent.
  17. How did you lose the money?
  18. Some people can overlook anything.
  19. Leases are just gentleman’s agreements in Thailand, because going to court is not worth it. Its all about the deposit you do or don’t get back. Family illness justifies breaking the lease.
  20. Fortunately we have Google maps. Walking distances can be checked on there easily and also street view.
  21. looks dodgy to me. I don’t care how hot it is or if many people smoke here.
  22. I used to do soccer classes. One of my coaches did a sit down group on the grass one day where we sit on the ground. He had on some loose shorts. The kind like an under armour type material but very short like boxers. His snake was hanging out to put it bluntly. i realized much later, but not at the time, that it was probably not a mistake, but intentional. If anything, being much older, a dead giveaway would be realized through the giggles and laughter by various members of the group.
  23. With relatives living all over that’s not living stag. Stag means you arrived alone and don’t know anybody. Your meeting people cold turkey and it does not involve paying for anything or supporting anybody financially.
  24. I think if you do it solo the locals turn not as friendly. My guess is at best they ignore you. Making friends with Thais while living there stag would be very difficult.
