Anybody know why this development was abandoned and/or future plans for this derelict building? Huge complex behind Big C Pattaya Klang.

View Talay 5d has a whole shalllow section near where the water pillar is. Probably about a foot or two deep. It’s separated off from the deeper sections, but still part of the pool as a whole, so it’s not really a kiddie area. There is an underwater barrier there so you won’t get “swept out to sea”. I think all the talay’s have something similar as far as I can tell. You could probably just roll out or someone pulls up a chair and lift in with your arms.

I stopped going to barbers years ago. For a wahl trimmer and do my own now. I did just recently did get a barber haircut as it was so cheap, first one in years. Recut it myself when I got home the way I like it. there’s no reason why you have to have someone cut it. It’s a learned skill just like shaving. another benefit to doing it yourself, with some skill and practice, is that’s it’s always bang on right.

Laughing can mean many different things. Nervous laughter; laughing because it sounds ridiculously bad, laughing because you have a pain now and you thought it was just gas and now your afraid of dying, a street vendor laughs at you when you order, etc, etc. it’s not always making fun of the condition or ailment. Same as in Thailand, many reasons to laugh, could mean hundreds of things.

There is a condition, I forget the name, where feces gets blocked in the intestine and it ruptures, sending poison (feces) into the system. It kills you. I had a relative that died of this, and a roommate in college as well (don’t remember if he died but was taken away in an ambulance). It strikes without much warning, sharp pain, and you need to get to the hospital right away. You don’t just bare it though, your on the phone calling for help pretty much, but some people kind of wait to do anything. if I were you I would go to Singapore for a checkup, but not sure if your covered there and it’s likely expensive. Otherwise, back to home country if your from somewhere decent and let state coverage take care of it until they find something, as long as you have housing there or friends and family.

Expelled from Thailand

Not everyone is an expert on immigration “terminology” and procedure. We have better things to do like enjoying our trip or retirement years. -
Cialis from a local pharmacy in Pattaya. Where can I buy?
JimTripper replied to DudleySquat's topic in Pattaya
Cialis is long term acting, like all day or more. Viagara hits you all at once like within an hour. realistically though a viagara can last all night and into the next day or two. Depends on how sensitive you are. -
Strange for a rat bite to draw blood, but you need to get that checked out and taken care of and stop complaining. The important thing is that the rat was unharmed.

We were fixated on each other, not just me. Maybe he was someone who had seen me somewhere before, but I did not know about it. Maybe that’s why it looked like he knew me or recognized me, but was paranoid about it. Or It could have just been him reacting to me in a strange way. I don’t really know what exactly was going on and was just fishing for a reason. That’s why it was so strange. I don’t get that with people just walking around.
-
I’m not sure exactly. I just singled him out as we were walking opposite directions on a busy sidewalk. We made direct eye contact for more then a moment like we knew each other from somewhere, then he gave me a strange look almost like fear or something strange like paranoia, then he was gone in the crowd. That’s why I thought I knew him from somewhere before but I can’t remember from where. I looked back at him a second time but he was gone. So I thought I wonder if that was stickman Bangkok, or someone I had seen online somewhere ????????♂️.

The real brand name stuff from the USA is crank strong. You may be better off with a Thai generic brand. You don’t want to <deleted> with your heart. that’s why drs Rx it in other countries. To start out at a minimal dose, then increase only as needed. It’s easy to just pop a small pill when excited and not be cautious. they have Thai herbal remedies at the pharmacy also that are not as potent. -
Yes, it’s strange how certain people can make an impression on us and we never really know why. Maybe the guy I saw made an impression and I used stickman to find a “why” but it was not him at all.

I think stickman is from having a cane, not being thin, isn’t it?

He is a member on here. His recent blog post says he asked about something on this forum. I will go back and find the subject and isolate him on here that way. Do a search on recent threads and post it here. I saw just an “out of place” guy in patpong in the evening and my intuition immediately said stickman Bangkok. He looked familiar so I thought I may have seen his picture somewhere before, just don’t remember where. he was an overweight white guy, mid 60’s I guess, or older. Had a fedora type brim hat. Google mismatched eyes (like Jeff bezos). He looked out of place, but not a tourist, or a typical expat clothing or vibe. Hard to describe. I noticed him right away. Wanted to ask him if he was stickman but lost him on the sidewalk. There was something very curious about him. I don’t usually notice people that way. I’m not gay so it was not a secular thing.

Are there any photo’s of stickman bangkok? I think I saw him the other night walking. I checked on his site later on out of curiosity, have not read it for years, then found out he just returned to Bangkok in the last couple days after years of being away and was walking around areas like soi cowboy and patpong. Are there any known pictures of him?

Expelled from Thailand
JimTripper replied to sefwrwyju7lo6's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I have a problem with noting expulsion if they did not allow him to enter at the border? That’s just a denial, not being expelled really. -
There are not any crowds if you bike in. I just rented a bike in town and biked it (starting out at dawn when it’s not so hot). But I was young and fit then. Personally I would avoid any type of guide or tour. They take you on the same well worn path. Pretty much BS imo. It was all about finding secluded temples and being alone that was unforgettable for me. People differ.

Good point, I don’t typically. Many places I have viewed don’t allow removal of the existing furnishings. I even ask if it’s ok to buy my own and move it in (many landlords don’t allow it, they want it kept the same as when you move in). It’s rare to find an unfurnished place. I guess the question is where do they store their cheap crappy furniture or mattress if I want my own stuff. One thing I usually want to remove right away is a huge sized bed that takes up most of the room. Seems to be an asian thing. I want comfy chairs & a sofa, not a huge bed.

Most of the rooms are built for short term vacation stays (geared for tourists) even though they are often rented and marketed with yearly leases and spun as long term condo’s. Ever wonder why some of the buildings are quite nice, yet have small rooms with just a bed, and a sofa if you are lucky, maybe a small table and a couple chairs? It’s for a short vacation stay, not really a long term residence. Some examples of “vacation stay buildings” are the Riviera, Treetops, Unixx, The Base, etc. The View Talay’s seem a bit better, probably just because they tend to be bigger, but I still see vacation rooms when I look at most places in Pattaya.
