Are there health Agents? what if the insurance company won't pay anything or only part of the bill, or more likely goes bust as several have here recently. The government has a money back dept if your company goes bust, guess what, all the funds were soon gone when thousands claimed this year. We are still waiting after 6 months, better to take care of medical care yourself than throw money at insurance companies, which gets unaffordable in old age anyway.

What about the thousands of fish flapping about in local markets or the local Thais 'fishing' with those spear guns along klongs? I went fishing in Issan once they said it would be fun, all they did was pump the water out of a pond then collect the fish on the bottom when it was empty, what's so special about the parrotfish?

No soi dogs are not harmless, they are all a potential health risk and traffic hazard. If I do go locally for a walk I don't want to try to be 'friends' with these pests. Packs of them hang about along the roads so I take an expanding metal batton. Any dog being aggressive gets shown it, any attacking gets a whack on the nose. Our local Wat has installed CCTV and put up signs warning people if they dump pets there is a 4k baht fine they will try to enforce. Even monks have had enough.
