  1. They should replace ordinary Leo, which I will not drink even if free, with all these, just make one stronger. Anything is better than standard Leo ????

  6. Cannot bear Leo, tasteless drink, but saw new one today at Big C -Leo Columbus. At only 27baht a small bottle they are marketing it on the counter. Pity only 5% but totally different from ordinary Leo rubbish, more like Krung Thep beer from Cambodia. Getting some more tomorrow, at least it tastes of something!

  11. Not had one since 2008 which nearly crippled me, would not have another for free.. Many appear to be untrained or poorly trained, a weekend certificate from Wat Po means nothing.
  12. I had a train 2 hours late to Cambridge a couple of years ago, full fare back with no argument or excuses, not so Qatar.
  13. I preferred economy food to the muck they served up in biz class, you did get champagne and good wine, port and brandy though so that made up for it. One thing I did not mention with the cheapest biz class tickets you do not have access to the biz lounge at Heathrow, but they let me in anyway which was excellent, food there was amazing.
  14. The best is one that gets you an extension from the province you actually live in, you will still need an address and a bank account. You only need an agent if you do not have the funds or are too lazy or daft to fill out one form and wait a while.
  15. Food was not fit for animals, well maybe just about and far worse than their economy, the drink selections were good though. As for boarding they always call biz etc first, why do that when the plane is not ready to be boarded, kids, elderly and disabled stuck in the heat on an airbridge for over half an hour is just the result of incompetence.

  17. Somebody who knows what they are talking about at last. Qatar still boast it's the number one airline! I did get Q class on both legs, one was pretty good the other awful mainly due to the disgusting food offerings and seat with broken controls.

  19. I have read of others 'moaning' about being stuck on buses while they cleaned the plane. Why is it difficult to leave boarding until their planes are ready? Food was inedible and better in economy.
  20. Money was not important it's the principle of not getting what you paid for and poor customer service. First time I tried biz class.
  21. Booked biz class UK to Bkk with Qatar and paid for seat reservations. No problem on fist leg but on checking in online noticed reserved window seat changed for one on the middle on the 2nd leg from Dohar, no notification or choice offered. Due to plane type change. Went to check in 5 hours early as could not get through to them, got last window seat. So applied for a refund of the 2900 baht as they had not bothered to have given me another window seat when they could have or offered me a choice, as well as no notification of the change. First they agreed and said I would get the refund in 28 days, then after a few weeks said no as the seat I did get (no thanks to them) was similar to the one I paid to reserve. I ended up contacting the head of customer service in Dohar, still no refund. Lesson learned don't waste money reserving seats as they can just ignore it and you do not get what you paid for. In any case after one cancellation, 3 departure time changes, 2 plane type changes and abysmal boarding, with everyone stuck on the loading bridge for 30 mins at Dohar waiting for the cleaning to end, not going with them again. The food was terrible as well!
