    check AirB&B or rental agents or friends....stay a week in a similar apt....or the same building...I call them shoe boxes and some people love them....lots of Thais buy them on spec on the drip/payments....check if it gets full sun or not...it could be an oven...some condos will sneak cooking gas in so you can cook on the balcony otherwise ita stove tops and micros....

    I met a guy before covid at the Cambo border escorted by an off duty Immi officer who was almost over 10 years over. I was on the bus from Bahn Rai Coffee at Ekamai. He didn't leave Thailand and was back in the Immi guy's car and left while we were still in line. I didn't ask how much the donation was.

    it is rare to see a full helmet in Thailand. I had a friend in Pattaya who did the face plant off his big bike. He had a full helmet and walked away. I have never seen anyone wearing one riding a scooter or small bikes. This girl's story is a wake up call.

    There are very few farungs who haven't been bombarted with sure bets by gfs, relatives and half of their village neighbours. In Thailand sure bets win nothing weekly. The black market lotteries sometimes were determined by the closing numbers from the SET.

    I visited Haleshi Mahadev/Shiva Temple in Nepal which has large caves with hundreds of pigeons before and during the Maoist revolution. The Maoists ordered their cadres to eat the pigeons. In a few months the pigeons were almost eliminated. Thais might enjoy dining on pigeons. The Nepalis hunted the pigeons with slingshots.

    I went to the motorcycle taxi stand near the area that I had heard about from friends. I asked them about places falungs stayed at. In 40 minutes I had seen about 15 places. I checked out a few and picked one.
