  1. Took a look. No nefarious activity detected. Didn’t look painted nor particularly ripe.
  2. Not necessary to put it into your phone. I top up SIM that aren’t in a phone at all.
  3. You might find something like https://wpd.app/ of use.
  4. This is why it pays to be nice, instead of an unpleasant show-off. I know some AMAZING accommodation at that price point, but am loathe to put my neck out for someone who behaved in that manner. Better you learn by yourself that money doesn’t buy you real friends.
  5. NextG

    Rant.

I switch engine off when going down 5. A nice easy glide.
  6. How did you ‘suspend the line’? Details matter. If the SIM is still within it’s validity date, then a service centre can issue a new SIM. Whether the airport outlet is rated a service centre is another question.
  7. US$200 seems ridiculously high for a replacement battery. ‘Official’ accessories can be ludicrously overpriced.
  8. I didn’t ‘jump around’. I did my research and settled on one. More than ten years later and I still won’t go to anyone else if I can help it.
  9. Partly, your issue is with going to ‘well known’ dental clinics and ‘flagship’ hospital brands. They are designed to get the most money out of you. I found my Dental Surgeon in a ‘secondary’ hospital from likely the same group. A TOTALLY different experience. Suggested against certain cosmetic treatments, allowed me to walk out without paying my bill on the promise of returning the next day to do so. No ‘nickle and diming’ and half the price of the ‘flagship’ brand. The care was exemplary.
  10. You need Data Roaming off, unless you want it on. You don’t need Data Roaming on to receive SMS or calls.
  11. Lots of 20 baht topups(perhaps less than 20 baht is possible via Internet Banking and top up machines outside convenience shops) when you first obtain the SIM, taking it initially to a full 12 months of validity. Activating International Roaming in order to make topping up easier when abroad. Each top up adds one month, so it’s better to do your top ups in small increments. I’ve been known to do a 200 baht top up at 10 x 20 baht, adding ten months of SIM validity in the process.
  12. Just ask any of your favourite guitarist about their influences. You’ll find most copied someone else along the way. They’ll copy a style they heard, but most of their fans wouldn’t have a clue as to the originator. Every now and again, you hear about them going to see some obscure musician. Paying respect to the real thing.
  13. A conspiracy against you?
  14. You don’t/didn’t need to buy a new SIM. It’s just that you don’t bother or forget to extend the validity date.
  15. Doing a Gamma? 😊
  16. Peeled? Unpeeled? If unpeeled, why not buy from the wholesalers on the right hand side of the market, rather than the tourist oriented stalls?
  17. So you propose to make your tea with cold water. Good luck. Not my area, but yours. I live in another part of the city.
  18. The OP used to live in the same apartment that the Russians do now. He likely left the TV there signed into his YT account.
  19. Peruse his posts and you will KNOW. Stop wasting time trying to cut corners, thinking that you are smarter. The answers are within the thread.
  20. Perhaps you should have perused the thread beforehand. Then you would know the answers to all of your questions.
  21. If there is free HOT water, then why not? But this thread concerns maintenance fees…
  22. I disagree with even your first statement. Many styles were ‘borrowed’ from people who weren’t famous.
  23. The food centre there and at the former TOPS on Klang and Sai Song, now defunct, have long been gathering spots for expats wanting clean food at a reasonable price.
  24. That’s a lot of argument in your head over nothing.
  25. Is the suggestion that they are filling up with tap water?
