(Another) portable hotspot and annual SIM information request
NextG replied to treetops's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Are you above the 5th floor? Pinpoint your location on Google Maps, preferably on a PC and copy and paste the latitude and longitude figures contained within the URL where they are requested on the webpage supplied two posts above(first choose the 999 baht option to get through to the page that requests the latitude and longitude figures). Once entered if you have the option of selecting a package, it means that you will be covered by their seven day money back guarantee. Head to the NT office on Klang to avail yourself of the SIM and for help filling out the form. -

I did New Siam 2’s river view rooms. But my first experience there was at the Merry V Guesthouse. Nice people. -
https://bits.avcdn.net/productfamily_CCLEANER/insttype_SLIM/platform_WIN_PIR/installertype_ONLINE/build_RELEASE https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2 Install the first and then refer to and install the second. It should avail you of the options to clean the File System folder and what may not be cleaned under Windows > Advanced via the initially supplied CCleaner options.

Check to see if you have access to Band 40 at your location: https://wcsoss.totwbs.com/promotion If so, it will be more suitable, by design, for usage as a HotSpot. -
Vegetarian Festival… Be prepared to pay for parking nearby or to walk a little.

That’s the thing with reality. But it’s okay, perhaps I wouldn’t believe it with if someone told it to me. But I have pictures to prove it. No boasting, no exaggerating; just the plain truth.

You don’t need to help me. I too can see both sides. In this case I was inadvertently continuing a discussion from another thread for the reasons aforementioned. -

I don’t doubt some of what you say is true. I only went to the FMP a couple of times. It just lost the ‘sitting around a fire playing a guitar’ vibe and just became a soulless drug fuelled abomination IMHO. People just went to tick it off their boxes. They weren’t true explorers. There are very few of them. The people travelling there changed considerably. Flash packers and chavs who found out how ‘cheaply’ they could get a companion for the night. -

Actually you are right about nobody mentioning Arabs here. That’s on another thread in this board with regard to Sukhumvit. Posting on both at the same time and didn’t like the ‘looking down’ on the current inhabitants. So I waded in… 😊 Now where is that thaibeachlovers….? -

@CG1 Blue @FruitPudding It’s just another perspective, not a peeing contest… unless you make it so. I just speak from my perspective and tell the truth as I experienced it and as I see it. Let’s not argue. You have your perspective and your reasoning. I only got into this because of the looking down on the Arabs and anyone else daring to inhabit the area. You had your time. -

Haha… you just identified yourself as a sex tourist 😊 Playing field levelled by you paying for the company of women with whom you could barely have even a rudimentary conversation? What an edifying experience 😳 No, we, the men and women were on an equal footing. Travelling together, supporting each other. Learning how to be in relationships. No pumping and dumping as you so nauseatingly put it. I made it clear that I’m still in contact with many even now. It wasn’t all about trying to have sex with every attractive woman or otherwise. It was to broaden our experience. Unlike the men with stunted growth who have no experience other than shooting fish in a barrel. -

We were referring to ‘western’ women you 🤡 Perhaps you should follow the thread before you post and make a fool of yourself. We didn’t need to pay for desperately poor women from the north east and beyond. We could simply commune with our equals. That doesn’t mean that some didn’t have Thai girls as partners. But these were ‘normal’ girls, rather than ones for rent and sale. -
Condemning everyone else? You mean ‘everyone else’ is a sex tourist that hates Arabs? No, I’m referring to the filthy hypocrites. Of course I’m familiar with the area. That’s what backpackers do, explore. I went there with a Premier model whom I met on the flight. We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental(she paid) until I convinced her that we should move to where her peers would stay, around Wat Chana Songkhram in Banglampoo. So we moved there, but went to Sukhumvit to eat because KSR didn’t have the best food options late at night at that time. I think we even ate once at the Nana Hotel where she accidentally tipped the staff 1000 baht when she meant to tip them 100. So yes, I have a very good idea of what went on there.

Accusations? They are facts. They weren’t directed at you in particular, so why are you taking offence? But by your reply, it seems that you do fit the mould. No, I travelled to get away from a crazy ex and met loads of interesting people and experienced lots along the way. Didn’t go near any prostitution other than visiting a show in Patpong with female backpackers for the novelty. So no, I didn’t travel for the temples alone, but we did visit them with the prerequisite respect. Not making fools of ourselves walking around with very obvious women for rent. My Thai friends are respectable and respectful.

It’s true. Sexpats went to Sukhumvit and regularly slagged off the backpackers from the Banglampoo area, as ‘dirty backpackers’. Oh… the irony. Whilst we were fishing in a ocean of beautiful and plenty, they were shooting fish in a barrel. So most have no experience in actually meeting women in any other kind of setting. They have very fixed ideas about women based on having to pay for their company. They simply cannot believe that money doesn’t ever need to enter the equation other than being able to support yourself. But interesting to share points of views all the same. -
So it wasn’t ‘Third World’ when the women were so desperate that they’d sleep with you for next to nothing and you could rent them by the month? Despicable.

I think pomchop might have been referring to you. I’m not joking. Review your posts for confirmation.

Said the sex tourist… As a backpacker visiting, you were all as bad as each other. Clearly you thought/think that you were a cut above. There was Grace on the one side and Nana complex on the other. All full of filthy sex tourists. No need to discriminate amongst the lowlife. But sometimes we would head over to Sukhumvit for a change of diet late at night. Took Lae Dee was always open. Reminded me of a scene in Stars Wars. So rich that people here like to think there are somehow superior in not being Arab ☺️

You didn’t get hooked up by the sounds of it. You left empty handed and bitter. Those of us who were genuinely interested in people and nature had the pick of the garden. You could meet someone new on a daily basis if you wanted. Not just about sex, but interacting, touring, exploring, having experiences together. I had invitations to many different countries through those experiences and went there on some occasions. I’m still in contact with some to this day. -

It’s becoming increasingly clear why you weren’t a success with the ladies. I was turning them down left right and centre there because I had a girl with me or one at home. Some of those I did meet with later, even though they knew I had a girl, tried to get their leg over anyway. I remember having an attractive blonde Norwegian girl waiting outside, whilst the girl with whom I was with was inside the guesthouse. I didn’t even get off the airport bus without a girl grabbing me and suggesting we get a double room together. In my innocence, she did it purely to save cash as we were all backpacking. Seems you missed out on the social aspect. There were girls galore. -
I don’t have a problem. I’m referring to rooms that have scant ventilation and rely on aircon for cooling. I have no idea as to why you would try to post to the contrary? Are you suggesting such places don’t exist? Did you think that I was referring to your place in particular? What a weird and unnecessary reply from you.

😊 You, clearly, care about what I think and have no idea where I live. But for sure it is not central Pattaya. I used to write and post reviews of accommodation in Pattaya, so I have good knowledge of many places, including places that most here won’t have access or knowledge. Including a beachfront Penthouse on Beach road for an instance, in which I used to reside. But there are no ‘nice streets’ around there. Southern end of Walking Street and Balihai used to be nice. But they totally ruined that. The entrance to Soi 15 from Second Road was pretty rough and potholed. Have they fixed that yet? Other end seemed to be a under construction long term. Have they finished that yet? Nice street in London? Not by a long chalk. I guess if you walk through the Avenue you might not notice. Then there’s the proximity to Soi Bua Khao. Fine if you like that sort of thing, but it can hardly be called an upmarket area. Though Debua seem to be making an effort.
