  1. So OK, you just confirmed that they actually use less than 5 amp, because why would you use them with 5V
  2. And in below post you just explained why you NOT should get your uPVC windows from Homepro or the likes, since they are cheap <deleted>. Quality uPVC windows have a steel frame inserted, so they don't distort by the weight of the frame. My biggest uPVC sliding door is 5 meters by 2.45 meter high. No distortion
  3. There are plenty of posts on this forum, that have posted evidence that it will cost a LOT more to transfer crypto to Thailand, then using a SWIFT, because the fee is not your only concern. Also you will not be able to withdraw 10 million baht worth in crypto in one go. So please stop spreading false information https://aseannow.com/topic/1021786-withdraw-bitcoin-to-thai-baht/?do=findComment&comment=12648138 https://aseannow.com/topic/1205316-use-crypto-currency-to-transfer-money-into-los/?do=findComment&comment=16237580 https://aseannow.com/topic/1214216-withdraw-bitcoin-to-bangkok-bank/?do=findComment&comment=16401219
  4. Yes because it is know that government offices make up their own rules, on everything. Here in Pattaya the DLT even still forces you to go through the spray cabin.
  5. I don't think so, but sure the usual suspects on this forum will jump in soon and claim the opposite, and be sure they will try to make you feel guilty
  6. Looks like you only want to divert from the real issue. It doesn't convert to Thai baht when hitting a foreign currency account. In fact it remained in Euro for the following 5 years, until I decided to exchange at the rate applicable on that day. My question was, what will be the cost, which you avoid answering, since you know it will be much higher than 25 Euro, and you wont even be able to withdraw it into Thai baht for that amount.
  7. Vietnam just start to be attractive for tourists. Wait a few more years, and let's talk again. https://tradingeconomics.com/vietnam/tourist-arrivals
  8. I already pointed out what was untrue, it didn't take 2-5 days to arrive, didn't cost 3-5% in transaction cost either. I haven't seen google writing a post on this forum, what I saw was you making that post and claiming the above as facts, Now tell me how I would transfer 300.000 Euro to a foreign currency account with Kasikorn, and keep the balance in Euro using crypto. Also tell us all, that even IF it was possible, which isn't. what would be the costs. https://www.gobankingrates.com/investing/crypto/how-to-minimize-crypto-fees/ Edit to correct: Looked the transaction up in my passbook, and there was no fee at the Kasikorn side at all. Euro's arrived in my account was 25 Euro less of what I sent
  9. Completely untrue. I transferred 300.000 Euro from my home country to a foreign currency account with Kasikorn, so not the same bank. Transfer took less than 24 hours to arrive, so not 2-5 days. Total cost was 25 Euro and 520 baht at Kasikorn, so not 3-5%. I couldn't have made this transaction for that cost using crypto.
  10. Funny anecdote. When I first time came here with a friend, he got tired of the ladies of the night, going in his mini bar first thing they arrived in the room. So he had the solution. Before he went out, he would empty the mini bar and put it all in his suitcase. Only thing is, in the morning he forgot to put it back, so the hotel refilled and charged for the complete mini - bar. Happened 3 times on his 16-day holiday ????
  11. Ever heard bout Google? https://www.google.com/search?q=chiangmai+garden+center+asean+now
  12. Why you think he has a work permit for block laying? As for the OP, I suggest you contact a garden center to do the job
  13. That's also what they said 6 months ago, and now even 2 months after the government has published in the Royal gazette that masks are voluntarily NATIONWIDE, there are still people who find and excuse. Just to go by your post. You went from crowded places, to busy places, and at the end places where you see the staff wearing a mask, to advocate the wearing of one. As long as those mask advocates are active, it will never wear off.
  14. Of course, and you will have noticed from my posts that supermarkets in and around Pattaya don't require it, as I haven't been asked anywhere for the past 2 weeks, and I'm not the only maskless person inside either.
  15. So you think that news should be ignored?
  16. I think you are grasping at straws to make your point. I buy a certain item from China manufacturers directly for many years, so I buy in bulk and get FOB prices. The same items are available on Lazada and Shopee, and often I can buy 1 piece, including shipping, cheaper that I can get it ordering 100 pcs of the same item from the factory
  17. People are paid only $10 a day in the west or Amazon
  18. Thailand scrapped a mask mandate and allowed bars and pubs to remain open for longer hours as the Southeast Asian nation rolls back its remaining Covid-19 curbs amid a decline in new cases and a rebound in tourist arrivals. The wearing of masks is now voluntary nationwide, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-Ocha said in a statement published on Royal Gazette late Thursday, ending a mandate first imposed in June 2021. People with chronic diseases should continue to wear masks during group activities to prevent infections, he said. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-06-24/thailand-ends-restrictions-on-bars-scraps-mask-mandate
  19. Six years ago I bought a nose hair trimmer on Ebay for 40 baht including shipping. Until today it still does the job
  20. I obviously haven't read all posts on this forum, but I don't think there is any that claim someone who wears a mask is stupid. I have seen many posts of the usual suspects who claim someone not wearing a mask is stupid, although they comply with the laws of the Thai health ministry
  21. So you know the law better than the owners of supermarkets?
  22. Yes, public places, since they don't have any rights to demand what happens in private places. ... Did you see my post that in the past 2 weeks I have visited 3 different Makro branches, and visit Big C and other supermarkets and hardware stores like HomePro and Thaiwatsadu on an almost daily basis, and have never been asked to wear a mask? All those stores mentioned have security at the entrance.
  23. Link
  24. No they are not, you just made this up. Show me a link, that is what you always ask, where the government states that supermarkets are considered crowded paces.
